Conical Mill Size Homogenizer

The Conical Mill is equipment used to reduce the size of material in a uniform manner.

It operates by feeding the product into the mill by gravity or vacuum. A rotating impeller forces

the material outward to a conical screen surface, where it is sized and passed through the

opening in the screen. Once finished the product drops through the milling chamber to a

receptor underneath.

The impeller and screens can be customized as per each need.

The Conical Mill can be used not only to reduce the size of particles, but also for de-

agglomeration, sieving, dispersion, and mixing.

Bin Blender Material Mixing

The Bin Blender equipment is ideal for mixing and homogenization of powder and granules. Its

high mixing efficiency and easy use makes it perfect equipment for the Pharmaceutical Solid

Dosage processes.

This equipment has the advantage to be able to be used with any size of Bin giving high flexibility

to be used with different size of batches.

High Shear Mixer HLSG Granulation

With authorized representation and special cooperation with SMA we are bringing the HLSG High Shear Mixer Granulator. This equipment is designed for dry mixing of powders and wet granulation. Mixing and agglomeration of powder particles are achieved by the combined action of the impeller and chopper and liquid binder distribution system. It is supplied in a “through the wall” design and by placing all the auxiliary equipment in the technical area optimized the space in the production area.

Impeller

With a unique design including three blades with a small wing o each tip to obtain the optimum shear for granulation at every speed. Also includes scrappers at the bottom of each blade to avoid product sticking and maximize product yield

Chopper

This part of the equipment is located on the side of the wall of the bowl with a horizontal shaft that runs at variable speed, counter directional to the impeller to prevent lumps forming. This part controls the granule growth to achieve regular size distribution

Product Bowl and Discharge Valve

The product bowl is designed with no dead zones for mixing and cleaning. It has a wide curvature radius on the bottom to prevent sticking product. The discharge valve is located on the bottom of the side wall to facilitate the discharge operation.

* The High Shear Mixer can be integrated with in line Mill for wet granule sizing and direct transfer in a closed system to a fluid bed drier.

WIP –WASH IN PLACE

The WIP is carried out by introducing compressed air from the impeller and chopper seals into the bowl; then running both impeller and chopper at high speed. Washing heads are strategically located to wash difficult to clean zones when the advanced washing kit is provided.

Fluid Bed Drier Drying – Granulation - Coating

With authorized representation and special cooperation with SMA we are bringing the LGL Modular Fluid Bed Processing Equipment. The LGL is a very flexible fluid bed processing machine with can be set up to accept different product bowls, depending on the product formulation and type of application. The change from one insert to another can be done without tools and is therefore very quick and easy.

Solid Dosage Fluid Bed Drier

SPRAYING SYSTEM

The patented spraying system operates by of a binary nozzle avoiding dripping.

Pressure, volume or weight of spraying solution can be controlled by PLCS.

SAFETY

Quick Action Safety Valves are installed on inlet and outlet air ducts, to contain internal pressures that exceed the pre-set value.

LGL Standard installation is designed to withstand and overpressure up to 3 bar. Installation up to 12 bar, ATEX compliant, are also available.

CHAMBER ROTATION AND FILTERS

The granulation chamber can be lowered and rotated controlled by a PLC.

Filter change and positioning are carried out from the external part of the machine without any needs of lifts or platforms letting the operator do all the operation at floor level.

CLEAN IN PLACE

The machine is fitted with high flow Clean in Place system to optimize cleaning

times and water consumption. All cleaning cycles can be edited and recorded

and thereafter can be easily recalled and reproduced. A printout of washing

parameters can be printed.

Encapsulation (Z-Series) Powder – Pellet – Tablet (Dosator)

The Z-Series capsule-filling machine, with Italian legacy, is reliable equipment that with flexibility will help the pharmaceutical process. The entire capsule-filling cycle entails a unilateral vertical movement that ensures the accuracy dosing patented design. The starting position of the piston inside the dosator can be adjusted separately. The Z-Series offer the maximum versatility of combined filling. Encapsulation Powder – Pellet (Tampering)

This equipment is designed considering the needs of encapsulation needs of pharmaceutical solid dosage processes. The powder is feed by gravity or vacuum to the hopper and is feed by a feeding disk to the open capsules and placed by tampering pins. The machine has an automatic switch-over and control the capsule blanking and avoiding the manual operation. It is equipped with needle brushed blowing to avoid the leakage of product during operation.

Tablet Press S-Series

The S-Series Tablet Press is reliable, accurate flexible equipment. Is controlled by the newest computer system that can be completely operated by remote. The machine has a compact design. For small series the electrical cabinet is built in the machine maximizing the production area. For the bigger series the electrical cabinet is separated from the machine but with a designed considered to be able to be moved during production as is needed.

CHAMBER ROTATION AND FILTERS

The upper machine head can be lifted to ease turret removal. This operation is carried out in a short time; the turret can be removed simply and quickly. Afterwards it can be swung out and positioned on a trolley.

High Sealing
