Iftheautoplaydoesnotappear,clickontheSTARTbuttonthenselectRUNfollowedbyBROWSE.Usingthepulldownarrow,selectyourCD/DVDdrivecontainingtheSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS disc.Doubleclickon‘autorun.exe’filetoruntheautoplay.WhentheautoplayappearsleftclickontheinstallbuttontoinstallSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS.Nowsimplyfollowtheonscreencommands.
2. ToremoveSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS fromyourPCclickontheWindowsSTARTbutton,CONTROLPANELandselect‘AddorRemoveprograms’.HighlightSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS andclickRemove.
ItisalsopossibletoremoveSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS byclickingonSTART,PROGRAMS,FIREFLYSTUDIOS,STRONGHOLD LEGENDS andclickingontheUNINSTALLSTRONGHOLD LEGENDSlinkorsimplybyinsertingthediscandclickingonUNINSTALLfromtheautoplaymenu.
3.WerecommendyouviewthereadmefilebeforerunningSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS asthiscontainsthemostrecentinformationonthegame.
4.Attheendoftheinstallationtheautoplaymenuwillappear.ClickthePLAYbuttontorunthegame.

IfyouchosetocreateaSTRONGHOLD LEGENDSdesktopiconduringtheinstallationyouwillbeabletorunSTRONGHOLD LEGENDSbydoubleclickingonthePLAYSTRONGHOLD LEGENDSicononyourWindowsdesktop.
ItisalsopossibletorunSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS fromtheWindowsStartMenubyclickingonSTART,PROGRAMS,FIREFLYSTUDIOSandPLAYSTRONGHOLD LEGENDS.
Inordertorunthegame,theSTRONGHOLD LEGENDSPlayDiscmustbeintheCD/DVDDrive.
Beforethegamerunsyouwillbepresentedwiththegraphicsconfigurationpanel,whichwillallowyoutochangevariousgraphicsoptions.Pleaserefertosection1.3belowformoreinformationaboutthispanel.

1.3 Graphics Configuration Panel
Changing your graphics card settings GraphicssettingscanbechangedusingtheGraphicsConfigurationutilitywhichappearswhenyoufirstrunthegame.ItisalsoaccessiblefromtheStartmenu.Generallyspeakingreducingsettingsorturningeffectsoffwillincreasethegraphicsperformanceinthegame.

Basic:Graphics level –BeforerunningSTRONGHOLD LEGENDSyoucanchoosethegraphicssettingsforthegame.Ifyouclickon‘Basic’youwillseefiveoptionstochoosefrom:‘Highest’,‘High’,‘Medium’,‘Low’and‘Lowest’.
IfyouhaveaverypowerfulPCwithavideo/graphicscardcontainingatleast128mbofon–boardmemoryandthePChas1GBmemorytryselectingthe‘High’option.

Legends TrailsPutyourabilitytoplayLegendstothetestasyoufightyourwayacrossamythicallandscape.Wehavesetupanumberoftrialstotestyourskill,eachlongerandharderthanthelast.Eachtrailcontainsanumberofpresetskirmishgamesofincreasingdifficulty.
Custom SkirmishCustomSkirmishmodeallowsyoutosetupagameagainstamaximumofthreeothergood,iceorevilcomputeropponents.Youcanchoosethemapstartingconditionsandaswellasmanagingyourcastle.Skirmishmodealsoincludestheranksystem(Seesection2.16).
User MapsTheusermapsectionallowsyoutoloadascenariothatyouhavecreatedyourselfusingthemapeditor.Hereyoucanalsoplaymapsorscenariosdownloadedfromtheinternet.
