The “PAPPAMI” project started in 2007 in a com-

pany called Trentuno s.p.a., which worked in the

fast food sector and had 19 establishments all

over northern Italy and over 340 employees. Out

substantial and constant activity in the catering

and free-flow (self-service) sectors led us to see

that operators in the sector needed a product that

could replace the traditional ceramic plate and

the problems related to it. More specifically, we

realised that there was a need to develop a con-

venient, time-saving (disposable) and eco-friend-

ly product.

The result was the creation of PAPPAMI® and that

same year the project became part of Trentuno

Properties s.r.l.

It took us a few years to develop the product but

since 2011 we have been able to offer a very inno-

vative solution with plenty of added value.

PAPPAMI® is the plate that you eat. The product,

protected by an international patent, offers a

more efficient and tasty solution to the problems

of storage, handling and disposal than the tradi-

tional plastic or ceramic plate.

About us

This recently formed firm concentrates on respect

for and active protection of the environment.

Water and electricity > Each plate is made by

adding about 28 grams of water to the dry ingre-

dients. We are already working towards the use of

electric power obtained from renewable sources

alone. The firm only uses electric power from re-

newable sources, RECS certificate: mark “100%

clean energy” Thirty.

Waste and sustainability > The scraps pro-

duced are not considered as waste but rather as a

resource; our firm gives production scraps away,

completely free of charge, to small farmers who

recycle them as animal fodder.

Packaging > the packaging is designed to be

ecosustainable; we use recyclable boxes and pa-

per adhesive tape, and the protective film can be

disposed of with paper, all production phases

thus being ecosustainable.

Wholesomeness > The ingredients used are

simple ones, just like for bread, they are com-

pletely vegetarian and only non-hydrogenated

fats are used. The ingredients are selected for

their quality, with no GMOs and no colorants. We

are soon going to start work on biological produc-

tion and a gluten-free line.

Our missionEnvironmental attitude and wholesomeness

PAPPAMI® is a product designed for the fast food

sector: a plate that can be eaten during the meal

or after it and that is so versatile that it is perfect-

ly suited for many different situations.

The “petals” of the flower can be broken off and

eaten along with the food. Its ergonomic shape

makes it easy to grip at the sides. It has a capacity

of more than 300 cc.

PAPPAMI® has the natural, fragrant taste of bread

and is made from a recipe that concentrates on

wholesomeness and naturalness. It contains no

preservatives. Even though it is highly novel it

still pays tribute to tradition, since bread is an

ancient food. It can be frozen, deep-frozen and

used in the microwave oven.

PAPPAMI® can be customised and made exclu-

sive by cutting a name or trademark into the

flower. It is a plate with a great personality that

stands out. It allows the staff to give free reign

to their creativity in the way they organise and

serve out the food.

It is an original plate and is ideal for serving hors

d’oeuvres, first and main courses, side dishes

and even soups. It is strong enough to transport

foods and to hold liquid and semi-liquid foods

for a long time. It can even be used for dressing

food with oil. Unlike other kinds of plate, it inter-

acts pleasantly with its contents.

PAPPAMI® is used in restaurants, bars, catering

services, private parties, wine shops, open-air

festivals, fairs … It enhances the flavour at buf-

fets and aperitifs and is also well suited for more

informal occasions like camping or travelling.

Its care for the environment perfectly suits the

needs of farmhouse accommodation and moun-

tain huts and of firms that want to highlight their

green mission.

PAPPAMI® > the product

Natural appeal at your parties!
