Why ?7

“What can I say that resume this experience in just one para-graph? A lot of things. And nothing. As even if I wrote many words it would be impossible to describe it in just a group of sentences... These six weeks were, probably, the most exciting experience that I ever had. Helped me to find myself, who I am, what can I do, what are my limits, my feelings, my friends and who and what really matter to me. Thank you very much to everyone who made this dream something real for me. I not only thought, I learned a lot as well. With my students. With my colleagues. With my feelings and actions. With everyone who I fortunately met in this amazing experience.”

Barbara Coimbra, Portugal.

“Different country with different traditions. I never expected that, at first it was hard for me. Later, I felt like here is my home country. Dealing with Tuk Tuk driver, local citizens and everyone on the street made me feel that I am one of Cambodian citizen. AIESE-Cer, EP Buddies also all Cambodian people were very helpful and kind. You may find happiness in every where. Meanwhile, happiness is not about owning things but we are creating change to happen. I wish I can stay here for the rest of my life. I will never forget anyone here.”

Ahmad Gamal, Egypt.

“Thanks to my host LC, TL and EP. I had a blast in my GCDP in Cambodia. They are super-friendly and helpful to me. We live next to a local family and I have experienced a lot of Cambodian culture. I will miss the days in Cambodia so much!”

Wynne Tse, Hong Kong.
