Dear All

Soon we will meet in Chisinau for 7 days of learning and fun. We in the team are looking forward

and with this mail we would like to give you the last information about it. If you have questions to

TRAVEL

You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements.

For the travel cost to be eligible the travel should be:

- The cheapest possible travel. (Flight are allowed if ground transport will take more than 12

hours)

- 2nd class tikkets.

-Arrival should be no later than May the 15 th 

- Departure should not be before May the 22nd

 - Your travel should be direct without any unmotivated stops

- You should be able to present documentation for all travel made (eg. boarding passes,tickets)

- Your total travel cost should be within the budget below.

We urge you to check that your passport is valid for the travel.

Travel reimbursement

After the training you will get the travel reimbursement (70% of total eligible travel costs)transferred to your account. You will on the training get a reimbursement form that you should fill it

in and return together with the original tickets, boarding passes and invoices no later than 21 days

after the training.

Participation fee

 No participation fee is requested.

You are expected to cover 30% of your travel expenses as well as you are expected to cover expenses for your own travel insurance.

COSTS

Costs connected with the activities in the program are, as a point of departure, covered by the

 budget from EC. Cost for local transport and entry fees for additional activities, are to be covered

 by the participants.

VENUE

The training will take place in Chisinau, 27 Academician Natalia Gheorghiu street.

Participants arriving in the airport should upon arrival call us on phone +373 69 529 729. If we are

not able to meet you in the airport we will organize a transfer by taxi for you.

Participants arriving by bus, train or car, should find their way to the venue. If you have any

 problems finding the place, please contact us on the number above.

SAFETY and INSURANCE

Each participant should buy their own travel insurance – for the whole stay. Please remember that

Moldova is not an EU member country. Ones you are in Moldova you are obliged to carry your 

 passport at you at all time.

We STRONGLY advise you NOT to travel into the area of Transnistria. If you anyway are doing it,

we kindly remind you that we cannot assist in case of any incidence there.

In case of emergency you can be contacted on phone nr. +373 695 28 427 (Lucia) or +373 69 529

729 (Asser). We strongly advise you to check the prices of roaming in Moldova with your mobile

 provider. Telephone cards with a Moldovan nr. are cheap and easy accessible.

TO BE PREPARED BEFORE

You are kindly asked to prepare (in the national groups) a National Presentation of max. 15 minutes

for the Intercultural Evening. It is up to each group to decide how you want to present your country,

 but the presentations must be interactive, funny and educative.

A component of the Intercultural Evening is the intercultural dinner after the presentations. Each

delegation will be asked to prepare some traditional food/dessert and drinks (for ca. 10-15 people).

Therefor we encourage you to bring with you the specific ingredients/drinks that cannot be found in

Moldova. The common ingredients (potatoes, eggs etc.) will be bought on the spot.

All of you are also more than welcome to bring any music from your country, musical instruments

and some games and plays you have to accompany our evening.

VISIBILITY OF THE PROJECT and DISSEMINATION OF THE RESULTS

We kindly ask you to put a bit of your time to the visibility of the project. We ask you to:

- send a press release out to your local media upon departure (1 press release per country)

- publish in your internal media (organization newsletters, home pages) a short summary of the

activities of the training- publish articles about your learning experience in the local media and also on your organization’s

home page

- publish on your organization home page any other articles about the project, partners involved,

activities and results envisaged

- organize a meeting with the other members of the organization where the experience from the

training is shared

ACCOMMODATION

You will be accommodated in a house in Chisinau. You will have to share the room with 1-3 other  participants.

WHAT TO BRING

  Swimming suit

  Things for intercultural evening

  All the travel documents and insurance

  Appropriate clothes and shoes (check the weather forecast before you pack your last things)

  Articles for personal hygiene - the venue is not providing shampoo, shower gel, etc.

  Please bring your own towel.

INTERNET

There is Wi-fi in the camp but it can be slow. Please prepare friends and family that you cannot be

on internet everyday.

MONEY CHANGE

It is best to bring EUROs with you. You can easily change them on the spot.
