Particular user Select the most adequate products for your using conditions and/or purposes. (For selection of products, be sure to carefully read the Technical InformationandPrecautions for Use ) If the product is applied as a hoist or elevator for human transport, be sure to furnish it with a protective device such as safeguard. Be sure to use explosion-proof motor in the circumstances where explosive gases or flammable gases exist. The explosion-proof motor should have specifications most adequate for the facing danger. If a inverter is employed for driving an explosion-proof motor, the approved combination is 1:1 between motor and inverter. Be sure to operate motor with the designated inverter. The inverter itself is not explosion-proof specifications, therefore, be sure to install it in the location where no explosive gases exist. If a 400V class inverter is employed for driving motor, be sure to attach a control filter or a reactor to the inverter, or use insulation enhanced motor. In the equipment such as food machines, especially machines which do not accept oil or grease, be sure to furnished with protective devices such as oil pan, etc., to protect from the oil leakage due to failure or life.

Maintenance free, Direction-Free Mounting.

The built-in gears are made of special alloy steels, machined in high precision process and carburized in heat treatment. (Some models in the GTR-L Series are not hardened by carburizing.) Especially, the high ratio Hypoid gears which are employed on the Right Angle Shaft Types(H F2 Types), secured high efficiency, low noise and long life by doing the CBN grindings after heat treatments, taking off the strains by the heat treatment.

All the models are filled with high-grade grease in our factory before shipment, no maintenance is required and can be mounted in any directions.

Gearmotors comforming to IP65 of IEC Standard. Suitable for the circumstances where water fly and/or periodical cleaning by water is being done. "IP65" stand for the grade of dust-tight and water-tight. The first digit "6" indicates "Perfect dust-tight structure" and the second digit "5" indicates "Protection from water jet in all direction".Note) Uses in water or under high-hydrostatic pressure are not permitted.
