Mobile Campaign Basics Mobile Push and Pull Campaigns

• A Mobile Campaign may or may not include a SMS Broadcast as part of the campaign design. One that uses a SMS Broadcast is called a Push Campaign)

• One that does not include a broadcast is called a ‘Mobile Pull campaign’. Mobile Pull campaigns uses off-line means (Newspaper, TV, Radio ads) to attract mobile users to send in their SMS messages.

• Both approaches can be combined for an effective Campaign. See best Practise section for more details.
