and Together Better

Did you notice the colorful painted luan boards in the welcome center? These boards were done by our Super Starz kids during their lock-in and will be used to board up homes in Detroit to make the neighborhoods safer, and to let the residents know we care. The boards will be hung during the 3-day mission trip to the city on April 6-8 with Rippling Hope. We will be creating more boards for the ELCA Youth Gathering in July, so everyone will have a chance to participate in this wonderful project.

Good Friday, April 3 Cross Walk

Everyone is welcome to join us as we carry the cross through downtown Clarkston, stopping along the way to reflect on the Stations of the Cross through scripture, and end with the youth bringing the cross into the worship service. The procession will begin at the Rite Aid on the corner of Dixie Hwy. & M15 at 5:45 pm. Make sure you dress for the unpredictable Michigan weather.

Heierman's House for Sale??

In December Debbie's mom Nancy placed her home up for sale and moved from Chillicothe, Ohio to live with the Heierman's. Since that time Pastor Jonathan and Debbie have been actively seeking another home in the Clarkston area with first floor bedrooms to accommodate this new reality. It looks like a home purchase is moving forward and so don't be surprised if you see a "for sale" sign in front of their current home on Lake Waldon Drive. Rest assured this is a local move and will have no impact on the future of Calvary's ministry. Please keep Pastor Jonathan and family in your prayers during this time of anticipated transition.

Open Door Outreach Center Do you know Quick Books? Call us - we need a couple of hours a week to support our Accountant Department.

Open Door is in need of volunteers to work in the pantry, reception and the resale store. Please contact us at 248-360-2930 or come for a tour!
