Special thanks to all of our singers, handbell ringers, and instrumentalists, under the

direction of Marcella Curtiss, for all of the music that has been presented during Lent,

Holy Week, and culminating in our Easter Cantata on Easter Sunday. A lot of dedication

and practice is involved in these special services, and it is much appreciated by the

congregation and also by visitors who attended.

PRAYER LIST

Procedures to request that a name is added to the prayer list are as follows: - Request permission from the individual in need of prayer (as requested by our Synod) - Send an email to: [email protected] or Phone: Joanne Cantwell at 610-933-0341 or Jerene Gladfelter at 610-933-3542 - List the individual’s name and BRIEF description of situation (i.e. chemo, dementia, auto accident, comfort and peace, etc.) - Name of requester and association (brother, co-worker, friend, etc.) - Please advise us when a prayer request is no longer valid A new prayer list is issued at the beginning of each month as a bulletin insert. In addition, we have an email list of individuals desiring to be on the Prayer Chain to receive these requests. Please update us by the 25th of each month to ensure that your request is listed. If you have not signed up previously and wish to be on the Prayer Chain to receive immediate prayer requests other than those listed monthly, please contact Joanne (610-933-0341) or Jerene (610-933-3542) with your email address or telephone number. ANNOUNCEMENTS

It’s time to start thinking about VBS! We are looking for a VBS co-director for this year’s Vacation Bible School program. We will again be hosting VBS along with St. Peter’s, who will also have a co-director. The location for VBS can be either Cen-tennial or St. Peter’s and the date can be selected by the co-directors. Pastor Jerry and Ron Allen are again planning to hold an adult Bible study class during the VBS time. If you are interested, please contact Beth Wise (610-935-1727 or [email protected]).

Food Delivery If you can help deliver food from our food drive to Good Samaritan and Jefferson Place, please meet at the church at 9:45 AM on Friday, April 8.

Spring Concert will be held at University of Valley Forge on Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 PM in the Flower Chapel. The evening will feature the instrumental and choral ensembles of UVF. The first half of the program will include selec-tions by the Wind Ensemble followed by the University Choir singing excerpts from Shubert’s “Mass in G.” Following the intermission, the University Choir will present a variety of sacred music. Admission is free. For more infor-mation, call 610-917-3954.
