Lunch hourofficial lunch hour is between 12.00 to 13.00 hr, although a lot of people eating outside this hour.

One could eat at 7.30 up until 18.30 at this canteen (but possibly later at other canteen)

so, we eat - whenever we feel like it, and have no class

What about snack instead of proper meal?What about snack instead of proper meal?Yes, we do like snack….BUT

1. Snack is snack, it’s only for temporary

2. Snack are not filling, we will eventually have to get proper meal afterward.

3. There is no automatic snack vending machines in the building

4. Snack is expensive

5. Eating snack during class is impolite although some teachers do not mind


What about pizza at school?What about pizza at school?Yes, we love pizza….BUT

1. We are not so close to any pizzaria

2. We do not like to wait 30 minutes for pizza delivery

3. We do not like to explain complicated direction to the delivery guy

4. Pizza is expensive

5. For a lot of us, pizza delivery is the last resort options, when other options is not

available


What about instant noodle at school?What about instant noodle at school?Yes, we eat instant noodle….BUT

1. We mostly eat it at home

2. We do not like foam package, too many rumour!

3. It’s not easy to find hot boiling water in the campus

4. We like to eat our food with group of friends!

5. Other options is easier to get


What about fast food or junk food?What about fast food or junk food?There is no fast food such as McDonalds or KFC nearby, the nearest is in the nearby International airport…


What about frozen food?What about frozen food?There is no microwave or kitchen facilities for students in the building…the closet place to buy and heat up the frozen food is at convenience store (7/11) but if you can go to 7/11 why don’t just go to canteen?

Well, many of us think energy bar is snack….we eat it because it is yummy not because it is healthy or filling..
