Raising Healthy Children

Together we can raise healthy children byfollowingthe5-2-1-0message.Daily we need to aim for at least 5 fruits and vegetables, no more than 2 horus of screen time, at least one hour of physical activity, and 0 sugary drinks

Physical literacy is learning the skills andhavingtheconfidencetoenjoymany physical activities Just as learning the alphabet is needed to read, the development of fundamental movement and sport skills help children to feel good aboutphysicalactivity.TheABC’s–agility, balance, coordinationare the skills that support physical literacy The basic environments where children should learn fundamental movement skills are on the ground, in the water, on the snow and ice and in the air
