We have some good things in store for you this month! Spring is in the air and there is an excited buzz going on
here at Island Jane Magazine. The water is warming up and we have so many great opportunities to enjoy the sunshine before it gets really hot outside.
This month we welcome two new writers to the scene. Sophie DeVooght who is sharing her good ideas for getting some exercise while avoiding the gym; and Samantha Zeher who is our eco-tour extraordinaire of the upper Keys. You may have seen her on our Facebook page providing us through her pictures an up close look at some of our Keys creatures. Now she will be sharing her stories with us as well. Speaking of eco-tours, we also
have a guest writer this month. Christy (Sunshine) Schiro who is wildly passionate about making a difference in Key West.
Not only does March mark the beginning of Spring for us, it is also National Women’s History Month. It’s a good time to take a minute to appreciate what our sisters who came before us contributed to the range of opportunities we have in front of us now. This is a great time in history to be a woman!
