Industrial Visit of TE Electrical Students at 220KV Bale

Substation, Ambika Nagar, Bale, Barshi Road, Solapur

A Batch of 74 TE Electrical Engineering Students along with 4 faculty members

visited 220KV Bale Substation for subject of Testing and Maintenance of Electrical

Equipment on 10th of August 2019 in order to understand the following aspect in

Substation

1) Operation of Substation

2) Control Room and Its Working

3) Single line diagram of 220/132/33 KV substation.

4) Various divisions in substation like AC-DC Control Room, PLCC Room, Battery

Room, etc.

5) Switch Yard Visit.

6) Testing of Transformer, CT and PT, Circuit Breaker, Isolator, etc.

7) Quarterly Maintenance on Transformer, Circuit Breaker, CT, etc.

8) Yearly maintenance of Control Panels, PT, etc.

a) Reactive Power Management

b) Earthling: Necessity And Types Of Earthing Systems, Substation Grounding,

c) Troubleshooting And Maintenance of Transformer and Battery
