Transcript of How to Sync Windows Phone with iTunes
Copy iTunes music to Windows Phone
If you bought a new Windows Phone and you want all the music files from your iPhone follow the steps. These steps will guide you to sync music from iTunes Library to your new windows device.
First download an app named Windows Phone app for Desktop.
Remember windows 8 app will not do the trick here. Only the desktop
app will do the necessary.
First connect windows phone to your PC and launch the “Windows Phone app”. After
launching the app first time, it will ask to set up basic information for device. It will ask for device’s name and the location from
where app will sync music. Make sure that you choose iTunes as sync option.
But if you launch the app before and not sure which option is set, go to
settings screen, set the iTunes option which you will find under
“Sync music, videos and more from”.
Make sure that you are viewing the music section in the main interface of the app. At first time launch, the app will analyze the
existing iTunes data residing on hard drive and show all playlist, genres and artists onscreen for you. The time taken to display all these
things depends on the volume of iTunes data. When it will finish listing, you choose tracks or
albums you want to sync to your windows phone and click Sync. If the list is very long you could use search button at the top for locating
your desired track or album.
You could do the reverse action. Copy windows phone music track to your pc and iTunes Library. For doing
this, switch to the phone tab, choose the tracks and then click
Save to PC.
