We felt that the storyline would attract a wide range of ages, ranging from teenagers to young adults however mostly females, we found this out due to our questionnaire. The storyline is based around a young female who is recovering after the loss of her partner and she is trying to find herself and a new love. By following the female’s everyday life it means that the audience watching could relate to her routine or the everyday situations that will happen to her. Within the opening it displays a montage of a couple which will

allow those with past or present relationships to relate to whether younger or elder.

PropsThe props used in the opening film will also attract a wide variety of audiences. The clothes

being worn in the opening are very trendy and casual which represents their age. Along with this, props such as iPhones show that the characters are middle class and will attract

young middle class audiences as they will be able to relate to these particular props.

SettingsThe main filming location in the opening of our film is a house which is used to show the

wealth of the characters families, which represents middle class. By using very middle class locations it will allow the audience to relate to some of the places so we felt that these

locations would be perfect for our filming.

Target AudienceWhen deciding on the certificate rating for our film we finally decided with the rating of 12A as we felt that the content would mean that we needed to make it a twelve and this follows many other ratings of the romance genre. By making it a 12a it allows our target audience to be established already to be teenagers to young adults. We also uploaded our video on to YouTube which was beneficial as we could promote it and show it to a wide variety of ages and is simple to access. Once put on YouTube we asked people fromour class and recorded their feedback and we also asked people from different age groups so we were able to gain a mass feedback and ensure that the target audience was fully established.
