As the saying goes, we are starting off a great year and we have just started it with a blast! Different ac- tivities were facilitated be- fore the long holidays have taken place. During our first assembly, Ms. Vilma and Ms. Nita welcomed all the stu- dents and oriented them re- garding the school policies. They also introduced new teachers and assistants who joined us for this school year. After which, the teachers and assistants played a short skit to show them the Do’s and Don’ts in school. Everyone enjoyed the short skit/drama we prepared for them. To join our Muslim broth- ers and sisters in celebrating Idul Fitri, the students and staff prepared and gave away sembako bags to less fortu- nate people around the area. In this way, students will be aware of other’s needs and at the same time learn the value of giving. You could see from the pictures how happy they were while distributing the goods. Thanks for sharing!!! For our first Spirit day, we celebrated Merah-Putih. Ms. Hesti assisted the Grade 5 students to do the Flag rais- ing ceremony. Everyone wore red and white to give respect and commemorate the 67th year of Indonesia’s independ- ence. Merdeka! We are so happy and ex- cited to be back in school again. We will not be able to do all our goals without of course your assistance and support. Together we can mold them to be a better and happy individuals ready to face challenges of school life.
