Welcome to this new academic year 2012-2013! We are happy to be a part of your child’s learning experience.

Our school week started off by getting to know each other in class, meeting new friends and catching up with old ones. We also met our new teachers who will guide us in our new journey.

A lot of activities have been done in all subjects. Apart from that, we also learned the virtue of politeness during our class assembly.

This is just the beginning of what Sekolah Mentari Grand Surya has to offer for all the Grade 1 students. Let us work together to make this school year fruitful and meaningful for everyone.

Celebrating Independence Day

Last August 10, 2012, the Grade 1 pupils partici-pated in the Indonesian Independence Day celebra-tions in school. Dressed in their red and white clothes, the children assembled at our school field. They were excited and enthusiastic for the activi-ties of the day. Our celebration started off with the Indonesian flag raising ceremonies and the sing-ing of “Indonesia Raya”. It was an experience they will surely remember.
