It can be clearly seen that the company’s nearly half workmen are not happy with their remuneration. So company should use this principle and provide good remuneration to all its employees so that the may work whole-heartedly for the company.

The interests of one person should not take priority over the interests of the organization as a whole.

Centralization as lowering the importance of the subordinate role. Decentralization is increasing the importance. The degree to which centralization or decentralization should be adopted depends on the specific organization.

Managers in hierarchies are part of a chain like authority scale. Each manager, from the first line supervisor to the president, possess certain amounts of authority. The President possesses the most authority; the first line supervisor the least. Lower level managers should always keep upper level managers informed of their work activities.

For the sake of efficiency and coordination, all materials and people related to a specific kind of work should be treated as equally as possible.

SCALAR CHAIN :

Question Yes No No Response No. Of Respondents

Does the boss of your boss directly communicate with you ?

90 20 40 150

ORDER:

The study shows that the employees of the company have direct communication with the boss of their boss, which violates the scalar chain principle, This principle should come in use of the company because by its implementation lower level workers could work more efficiently.

My personal observation made it clear that all goods were placed at their decided place and employees worked at their pre-determined place. Which is beneficial for the company.

Page 16: henry fayol principles business studies class 12th

All employees should be treated as equally as possible.

Retaining productive employees should always be a high priority of management. Recruitment and Selection Costs, as well as increased product-reject rates are usually associated with hiring new workers.

EQUITY:

Question Yes No No Response No. Of Respondents

Does your company give equal remuneration to all the employees doing a similar job ?

60 40 50 150

STABILITY OF TENURE OF PERSONNEL:

Question Yes No No Response No. Of Respondents

Have you served this company for more than 1 year ? 8 12 0 20

Above facts tell that the company is not conscious about this principle. Following of this principle will lead to sense of belongingness in the hearts of the employees of the company.

This study shows that labour turnover of the company is high, which is not good for the company. If this could be brought down the labour would feel job security and would work more efficiently.

Management should take steps to encourage worker initiative, which is defined as new or additional work activity undertaken through self direction.

A Manager Should Continuously Make Efforts to Develop A team Spirit Among the Subordinates.

ESPIRIT DE CORPS:

INITIATIVE:

Question Yes No No Response No. Of Respondents

Does your boss give importance to your suggestion ? 97 3 50 150

This shows that most of the employees felt that their opinions were given importance. This is good, as it helps to encourage the employees and increase their confidence.

My observation says that the managers of the company a victims of superiority complex due to which the feeling of employee is out of question. Managers should be told that they must take care of the employees in a good manner, so that it may increase the confidence of the employee over the company.
