2017 Recap
It was a long, tough road getting our Pittsburgh Chapter
from just an idea to a functional organization in the
Pittsburgh Community. Collaboration has been a major
factor in our board’s ability to make ripples in our area.
10 individuals from 10 different employment levels,
ages and walks of life came together as a board and
created a vision. We are more than ready to make an
even larger impact in 2018.
For now, let’s look at the things we’ve accomplished in
the few short months since our induction in August.

Inducted into the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources by National President, William Rolack and National Vice President of Chapter Development, Larry Gibson.
Race Relations in the Workplace: Dr. Yasmin S. Purohit, Robert Morris University’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, discussed how to have productive discussions about race, among other things.
