The cast and musicians are commended on an exemplary show – you had your audience captivated from start to finish! Appreciation is extended to the directors and producers in their various capacities: Miss Jansen, Mrs Mertens, Mrs Smit, Mrs Ciro, Ms Kennedy and Mr Ciro. Netball News Congratulations to the U16A Netball team that played in the Champions Cup at Rustenburg over the weekend. The results of their pool games were as follows: o Reddam House vs Wynberg Girls - won 11 - 6 o Reddam House vs Westerford - won 15 – 7 o Reddam House vs Somerset College - won 23 -3 o Reddam House vs St Cyprians - won 12 -7 The team then went on to play against Bloemhof in a very tough final match where the final score was 21–12 to Bloemhof. Congratulations to the team, coach and manager on their well-deserved silver medals! Harvest Fest 2016 What a fantastic event!! Everyone is raving about last week’s Harvest Fest held on our very own cricket oval. We had a great turnout and couldn’t have asked for better weather! The food and drink selection was delicious and our retail vendors fitted in perfectly. The music line up, planned and put together by our wonderful Music department, provided hours of entertainment leading up to the main event for the night, Me & Mr Brown, who had everyone on their feet and dancing. We were especially blown away by the applications and talent of our young entrepreneurs at the Pocket Money Market which was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who attended, to our vendors and a special thanks to all who helped with pre planning, set up, on the day and clean up. Not many are aware that our wonderful Matric students play a big part in helping with the children’s games, clean up, traffic control and even the
background accounting. A lot goes into this event from planning, ticket sales, set-up … and the list goes on, all coordinated and put together by the P&F Committee. Every year this event seems to get better and better. Here’s looking forward to next year’s Fest!!
Who are the P&F? The P&F Committee are a group of volunteers who get together, plan and coordinate various events, coffee mornings, lunches, dinners and so on in the name of school pride and community. They are not part of the school body and do a tremendous job, as parents, being part of and leading the parent body of Reddam House and ensuring that all proceeds collected through their endeavours go towards a good cause or specific (parent chosen) addition to our school. Please use double knit wool and size 4 or 5 needles. Knit till your square is 20cmX20cm. Once complete, please hand your finished masterpiece/s in at reception, marked with your name.

Freedom Day - Public Holiday Please note that next Wednesday (27 April) is a public holiday and the school will be closed on that day. However, the rest of the week is a normal school week and the usual academic programme will be followed, including cycle tests and an Elevate Education workshop. Passover The Jewish holiday of Pesach (or Passover) begins this Friday evening and ends on the evening of Saturday, 30 April.
