Study Abroad
This was our first day in china! We were on our way to the hospital because a student needed stitches! What a way to start a trip in a foreign country!!!!!!

It is really humid in the region. I found that carrying an umbrella shielded me from the sun. Be sure to drink plenty of water!

Ivory carving Bonsai tree
This Ivory carving was particularly stunning. This picture does not do it justice because it does not show the amount of intricacy and detail the artist put into this.

Advice: When booking ticket for sleeper train… book the bottom, more expensive bunk. There is no ladder to use if you are in the middle or top bunk

Instead of going to the touristy section of the Great Wall. We went to another and were able to hike a trail to the wall!! What a workout!
