ENGIM Piemonte
A brief presentation aboutMy organization - my job
Torino
ENGIM (Ente Nazionale Giuseppini del Murialdo) is a non-profit vocational training organization. ENGIM was created to continue the many activities organised for young people and workers in the second half of the 19th century by St. Leonardo Murialdo (1828-1900). ENGIM organises training and guidance activities in Italy and abroad for young people and workers, to develop their vocational skills and their personal and social advancement.
In Italy, ENGIM manages 23 Training Centres and one Study Centre. It has four operational centres in Piedmont which offer training and guidance services in the fields of industry and craftwork, the service industry and ICT, catering/bar and health care. Engim has in our centre only around 50 employees full time and around 700 learners.
ENGIM collaborates closely all over the territory with local authorities, companies, schools and universities, the welfare services and employment centres, to plan training programmes that meet the users’ expectations and the needs of the business world. It designs and implements activities financed by the regional and provincial authorities, and by the European Social Fund. On the request of companies/organisations/associations, it organises refresher, retraining and continuous training courses.
ENGIM is approved by the Piedmont Regional Government as both a training and a guidance centre. The ENGIM Quality Management System has also received UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification.
My team in Engim is involved in business and management courses in the field of Leadership, effective communication, project management, work groups management, environment, computer science (ICT and Web2.0)
