Continue the support of the PostgreSQL Community Conference series including West, East and PGDays at OSCON and LWE. West, OSCON and LWE supported in 2008

Establish a grant program to sponsor advocacy and development of PostgreSQL.

Work with international PostgreSQL associations to achieve common goals.

Establish and support user groups in all major regions of the US (Northwest, Southwest, Midwest, South, Northeast)

Create curriculum for PostgreSQL.

Establish regularly scheduled educational workshops for PostgreSQL.

Speaking is an easy way to make connections, and educate people on PostgreSQL. Especially at Universities. Simply contact the local CS or ACM.

PUGS are a great way to network, bring new people to the community and learn new tricks.

Use local libraries as places to meet (free).

Contact other local Ugs for speakers or contact PgUS to have a speaker come to you.

Have PUG Days, single day conferences, with 5-6 talks.

There is no better time to be in the Open Source Database business.

People spending less money means smarter business decisions

People spending less money means reconsiderations of new licenses.

• If you have 100k in Oracle licenses, wouldn't you rather put that 100k toward business or app development?
