TONY L . HENTHORNE, PhDTony Henthorne teaches Marketing Planning &Strategy and directs all graduate programmes,research activities and international programmesfor his college. He has worked with resort entities throughout the Caribbean and Mexicoon market planning and customer service. Hislatest work deals with destination image andbrand personality of Jamaica.

He has been a marketing professor for over 25years and, as such, has made hundreds of presentations. He has worked with tourism andresort entities in the US, Caribbean and Mexico,primarily in marketing planning and customerservice. He has spoken to numerous organiza-tions, meetings and conferences ranging in sizefrom small dinners to gatherings of severalhundred listeners. He is a frequent travellerthroughout the Caribbean where the diversecultures of the region continue to draw him back.He has visited Jamaica 78 times and is lookingforward to his 79th visit.

FRITZ H. A . PINNOCK, PhDFritz Pinnock is the Executive Director ofthe Caribbean Maritime Institute. His visionand leadership style have resulted in ateam-oriented work environment. He is verypurpose-driven and goal-oriented and isno stranger to top managerial positions,having been in management since he was21 years old. Having progressed and movedon to serve in other management positionsover the years, Dr. Pinnock explains thatto lead effectively, one has to have the abilityto influence and maintain a good rapportwith staff.

Dr. Pinnock is also an author, with his mostrecent work titled – Caribbean CruiseTourism: Power Relations amongStakeholders.

WILLIAM W. LAWRENCE, PhDWilliam Lawrence is a veteran consultant andresearcher in the field of strategic management.Currently, his work focuses on developingbusiness models for organizational transfor-mation. He has a book that is forthcomingfrom UWI Press and tiled “Business Renewal– A Roadmap from Jamaican Firms.”

ROBERT OPPENHEIMER PhDRobert Oppenheimer is a Professor of Management and the Director of the Centrefor Mature Students at Concordia Universityin Montreal, Canada. Bob teaches Organiza-tional Behavior and a course he created, Developing Managerial Skills, in the MBA programs.

The focus of his work has been the effectiveutilization of organizations’ Human Resources.He has been conducting workshops andteaching in the MBA programmes for the Institute of Business of the University of theWest Indies in Trinidad and Tobago since 1995.

He joined theOrganization in 2009 as National ProgrammesDirector, and was subsequently promotedto the position of Chief Technical Directorwith responsibility for the developmentand execution of the Organization’s strategicpriorities. GARY (BUTCH) HENDRICKSONGary C. Hendrickson, also known as Butchserves as the principal and chairman of Continental Baking Company Limited andDirector of National Continental Corporation.He is also a member of the American Societyof Bakery Engineers.
