PROJECT GUIDED BY THE FACULTY:CHETAN H DESIGNATION: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR DEPARTMENT:ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION CONTACT NUMBER: (+91) 9916012544

OBJECTIVE BEHIND THE IDEA: WHAT IF THERE IS A BOARD WHICH DISPLAY DATE, DAY WITH SMALL MESSEGAE IN STAFF ROOM!!Now-a-days we can see that almost all offices have any kind of clock for the employee to work on the time. Especially work place like school and colleges faculty member must have an idea of at what time which work has to be done. Although we people are living in 21st century where every person is having wrist watch or smartphones. But sometimes it happen that one might forget there watch or smartphone or there watch might get slow. Some times when HOD(head of the department) wants to announce something like we have meeting in next 2hour instead of coming in faculty room she type the message from the cabin and it will display in the message with buzzer sound, so that one must check what is there in message.

Cons of digital clock+message board systems:1. It required power supply 24 hour.2. It cannot display long message on the screen My Approach: My idea is to build a digital board which display the TIME,DATE,DAY(according to college)and a small MESSEAGE with a BUZZER sound which control by any one person like HOD. This innovative approach makes use of a buzzer and LED display interfaced with a controller and one input device to give message input. This type of a Digital clock system will help faculties to manage their time-table and HOD to display any message to all the faculties.

Construction:The system consists of a microcontroller, LED display and buzzer to display all the data what we want to display and it required one rechargeable battery for all time continuous power supply. 1. The microcontroller is used to interface the buzzer, led display and device to give input message. 2. The LED-Display to display the all the data like date, time and message. 3. The Buzzer is used to make some attention sound that new message is displaying. 4. Rechargeable Battery is used to provide power supply to controller continuously such that when main power supply is not available then controller should use battery. 5. The connecting wires are used to connect all the output and input devices.

Principle and working:1. Motion Sensor/Photo detector: A photo detector operates by converting light signals that hit the junction to the voltage or current. Junction uses an illumination window an anti- reflect coating to absorb the light photons. The result of the absorption of photons is creation of electron hole pairs in the depletion region. This process converts light into either current or voltage depending upon the mode of operation2. BeagleBoard: The BealeBoard is a low-power open source hardware, single-board computer which is used to interface all the peripherals required for the system. Here it receives the signal from the detector and processes it and initialize the camera. After that it receives the signal from the camera and sends it to GSM Modem for transmitting. 3. CMOS Camera: It is a complementary metal oxide semiconductor. Its each pixel contains a photodiode that converts light to electrons. I has a charge to voltage conversion section, reset and select transistor, and an amplifier section. Here it receives the signal from the processor and is initialized and then it captures the snap which it transmits to the GSM Modem via processor.4. GSM Modem: The GSM Modem comes with a serial interface through which the modem can be controlled using AT command interface. An antenna and a power adapter are provided. Here the GSM Modem receives the signal from the camera via processor which it transmits to the host using transmitter.

Algorithm:Wait for detector to detectInitialization of embedded processor.Initialize the camera and take the snap.Send the snap to the host via GSM Modem.Send the snap to GSM Module through processorInformation received by host. 1. Wait for the detector to detect any kind of irregularity.2. Initialize the processor .3. Process the data from the detector in real time. 4. The camera is initialized by the processor which takes the snap at the same instant.5. After taking the snap the output signal is send to GSM Modem via processor. 6. The GSM Modem sends the snap to the host with the help of transmitter.7. The host receives the snap and comes to know about the irregularity happened at that place.

Expected Outcome:With the increasing number of burglary, there is a need of efficient security system. Though there are many security systems are available in market, very few of them are efficient and hasty. Our project "REAL TIME SECURITY SYSTEM" will certainly help in addressing the following issues to the society at large, irrespective of the geographical location:1. Instantaneous knowledge of any burglary or irregularity.2. Eradicating the human fatigue associated with burgalary.3. Quick decision making by the owner to stop any kind of unexpected event irrespective of his location (by calling police, by raising alarm, emergency lockdown, etc .)4. Evidence is also present which can be used against the intruder (Snap/video/audio/heat signature, etc). As mentioned earlier our idea revolves around making this facility available to required ones at an affordable price.
