He will come and save you.” PSALMS 146:6-10 The LORD watches over the sojourners, he upholds the widow and the fatherless; but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. JAMES 5:7-10 Do not grumble, brethren, against one another, that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the doors. WWP Connect Coffee Talk: Your Heart—You are Captivating
In this world of noise and busyness, it is hard for women to find the time to give ourselves a little attention. Please join us for a talk and discussion to remind us of how precious we are to God and that His love is unconditional, simply because we are His precious daughters. No experience necessary, just come as you are for lunch and a chance to see what Walking with Purpose is all about!
This Wednesday, Dec. 18th 12:15 PM For details or to RSVP, contact Michele McCarthy at 732-996-4929 or visit wwpnjshore.com.
Amazing Possibilities: Now is Your Time If you desire to grow in your spiritual life, let the saints help show you the way. This latest book by
Matthew Kelly, “Rediscover Saints,” is available as a gift from St. Mark’s. In short chapters, Kelly explores how God is calling all of us to be saints in the world. Each challenge faced by saints demonstrates how to recognize the opportunities to create holy moments. This book will be our gift to you for the asking!
The question is, are you ready to collaborate in God’s great plan for you or are you comfortable letting life continue to pass you by? Here’s a glimpse of what’s inside:
Job Openings at St. Mark’s Do you enjoy cooking? Are you available a few hours each weekday to prepare meals? St. Mark’s is looking for a caring individual to help fill a void that will be left by our dear Donna Bailey. If you think this might be you, please call Linda @ 732-449-6364 ext. 111.
Is housekeeping your thing? Do you love making a house a home? Then we might have a position for you. St. Mark’s is looking for a housekeeper a few days each week to keep the Rectory sparkling and in order. If interested, please call Linda @ 732-449-6364 ext. 111.

Holy Inspiration Series in 2020
Coming this February: “Holy Inspiration” series, this time focusing on John of the Cross, a Spanish Mystic of the Carmelite tradition. Born in Spain in 1542, John explains: “Contemplation is nothing but a hidden, peaceful, loving inflow of God. If it is given room, it will inflame the spirit with love.” Come and learn how John describes the “Dark Night” in which we encounter God’s love. There will be two discussions on Monday, February 3rd, and 10th. Morning sessions are at St. Denis at 11 AM in the school and the evening session at 7 PM in Holy Trinity Hall. We will be using the book “The Impact of God” by Iain Matthew for our discussion, a perfect “stocking stuffer” if you want to put this on your Christmas wish list (ISBN 978-0-340-61257-6). It is a beautiful distillation of John’s thoughts meant to inspire you.
