Dear Parishioners, This is my second bulletin letter for this weekend. See, the first one was, sort of, a big moan about last weekend’s attendance. So this is going to be a little moan. Honestly, I was somewhat taken aback at what I hope was last weekend’s anomaly. Actually, attendance was better during the heights of Covid.” We were down more than 100 at last weekend’s Extraordinary Form Masses. Last Sunday was the first Sunday in a year where attendance at the 10 AM was under 200 – and it was way below 200. Happily, attendance at the Saturday afternoon Ordinary Form seems to remain constant. Anyway, I had to get it out of my system. I hope that this was a one- time thing and that we’ll be back to our normal 630 – 650 EF average. Last weekend, you received two reports, one from the parish, i.e., our annual financial report and one from the diocese on the CMAA. I hope our own financial report was a source of satisfaction and inspiration; satisfaction at what we have accomplished and inspiration to strive for a renewed effort to make St. Joseph Church a beacon and example of what can be accomplished in the midst of difficulty. Look at how we emerged so triumphantly out of the Wuhan nightmare, the quagmire of politics, appalling agendas and even the phenomenon of Traditionis Custodes. Sadly, for the prevalent and continuing tragedies of perverse agendas, threats of totalitarianism here, there and everywhere, there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. We will continue having to deal with the vaccination burlesque, the continual encroachment of Big Brother and the denial, furthered by a corrupt media, of those huge problems that are the true cause of society’s present-day ills. I remember recommending that, if you haven’t yet read them, you read two books very carefully, Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World. The jab, lockdowns and passports are right at home with Orwell’s Ministries of Truth and Love and the projected plans for Notre Dame, with what was actually perpetrated in several English cathedrals along with liturgical dance in various Catholic churches around the world, fit right in with Huxley’s exposés on worship, “liturgy” and society. In both books, there is no longer any such thing as privacy, conscience or logic. Frightening, right? God bless. Dear Parishioners,

This is my second bulletin letter for this weekend. See,

the first one was, sort of, a big moan about last

weekend’s attendance. So this is going to be a little moan. Honestly, I

was somewhat taken aback at what I hope was last weekend’s anomaly.

Actually, attendance was better during the heights of Covid.” We were

down more than 100 at last weekend’s Extraordinary Form Masses.

Last Sunday was the first Sunday in a year where attendance at the 10

AM was under 200 – and it was way below 200. Happily, attendance at

the Saturday afternoon Ordinary Form seems to remain constant.

Anyway, I had to get it out of my system. I hope that this was a one-

time thing and that we’ll be back to our normal 630 – 650 EF average.

Last weekend, you received two reports, one from the parish, i.e., our

annual financial report and one from the diocese on the CMAA. I hope

our own financial report was a source of satisfaction and inspiration;

satisfaction at what we have accomplished and inspiration to strive for a

renewed effort to make St. Joseph Church a beacon and example of

what can be accomplished in the midst of difficulty. Look at how we

emerged so triumphantly out of the Wuhan nightmare, the quagmire of

politics, appalling agendas and even the phenomenon of Traditionis

Custodes. Sadly, for the prevalent and continuing tragedies of perverse

agendas, threats of totalitarianism here, there and everywhere, there

doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. We will continue having to deal with

the vaccination burlesque, the continual encroachment of Big Brother

and the denial, furthered by a corrupt media, of those huge problems

that are the true cause of society’s present-day ills.

I remember recommending that, if you haven’t yet read them, you read

two books very carefully, Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New

World. The jab, lockdowns and passports are right at home with

Orwell’s Ministries of Truth and Love and the projected plans for Notre

Dame, with what was actually perpetrated in several English cathedrals

along with liturgical dance in various Catholic churches around the

world, fit right in with Huxley’s exposés on worship, “liturgy” and

society. In both books, there is no longer any such thing as privacy,

conscience or logic. Frightening, right? God bless. Father Magiera
