Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (CT-IN) is the

leading company of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group

(32% ownership of VNPT) operating in the fields of

telecommunications, information technology.

CT-IN is the first enterprise to develope projects of mobile networks in

Vietnam. As the first ranked company in Vietnam with the biggest

market share in services of construction and installation, integrated

infrastructure of mobile network for the largest GSM developers of

Vinaphone, Mobifone; the company is ranked in SI TOP by Cisco for

network facility provider for Telecommunication Market.

CT-IN provides various ranges of products and services, meeting

diversified demand of customers such as: Package service of design,

installation of NEC micro wave transmission devices for Vinaphone and

Mobiphone; Deploying services of 2G/3G/4G networks; MAN-Ethernet

network for provincial and city VNPT stations; IP Core system, IP

backbone, NGN, mobile wave coverage solutions for buildings;

enterprise management software; solutions for charging and customer

care; automation solution for smart buildings, etc.

CT-IN is an entity successfully attracting qualified human resources.

The company has nearly 500 managing staffs, engineers and technicians

who are trained regularly to improve the degrees. Presently, more than

300 staffs of the company have been awarded high professional

certificates by such major firms as CISCO, IBM, Oracle, Huawei,

Motorola, Nec, Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia-Siemens … among which 4

personnel were awarded certificates of highest grade by CISCO (CCIE

Certificate)

1972 CT-IN was Factory for Science, Production for Telecommunication No. 1, which was

founded on January 13th

1972 according Decision No.33/QĐ of the Department General of Posts

& Telecommunications and 100% owned by the government.

1973-1991 Operated mostly in producing, repairing, maintaining wired transmission

equipment and the equipment for civil such as Amplier, rectifier.

1992-1994 Invested strongly in digital switching centre (Itatel, Siemens),

viba transmission, optical transmission, leading the company to become a capable

enterprise No.1 of Vietnam in transmission.

1995 CT-IN was the first mobile network infrastructure system integrator in Vietnam.

1996-1999 Install infrastructure equipments (BTS, BSC) for VMS MobiFone and

GPC Vinaphone networks; MWR transmission network for GPC Vinaphone network.

2000 Stablished Informatics Center, making foundation for developing Software and

System Integration network, directing to business field in informatics and IT.

2001 Successfully capitalized into Joint Stock Company for Telecom and Informatics -

abbreviation: CT-IN, belonging to Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group,

operating in Telecom and Informatics.

2002 CT-IN was officially appointed by Cisco as the first Advanced Technology Provider

Partner- ATP for optical network projects of Cisco in Vietnam, becoming one of the 3 ATP of

Cisco in ASEAN region and the 7th in the whole Asia.

2003 It was the first time that the Company revenue exceeded 100 billion VND.

2004 CT-IN received the certificate ISO 9001:2000 from QUACERT organization.

2005 The Ministry of Post and Telecommunication granted the remit “Software

production quality control enterprise”; The remit of Sao Khue award of VINASA and gold

medal for the product “Administration Information System - AIS”.
