With a brand that reflects tradition and quality, Villeroy & Boch is facing the challenge of staying relevant in a highly- competitive global market. Villeroy & Boch turned to jovoto with the challenge of how to bring traditional tableware to the younger consumer? Together with jovoto’s young designer crowd, Villeroy & Boch is able to generate key young consumer insights, discover innovative product ideas, and new perspectives to inspire future collections. CULTURE MEETS ITS FUTURE Villeroy & Boch TRADITIONAL TABLE This was a private NDA project, visible only to participating creatives The brief was shared publicly with top creatives only. The social creative process involved creatives submitting ideas, getting feedback, and collaborating with one another. At the end of the 6-week submission period, 115 ideas were submitted by creatives from 80 countries. Ideas were evaluated and rated by the community and by Villoery & Boch‘s internal team. Winners were announced, and the 5 licensed ideas can now be found around the world in 125 countries.
