Seniors News - Packer Party
Join us for an enjoyable afternoon celebrating one of our favorite teams – The Green Bay Packers. This event will take place in the Church Hall on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Our luncheon will begin at 12:00 PM. We will have chili, ham and rolls, salads, rel-ishes, baked beans, desserts and many more delicious items. All members and guests need to sign up to bring a dish or choose to pay $6.00 for the luncheon!
After a delicious lunch, we will have a lot of fun trying to break our “Packer” piñata. Come and enjoy an afternoon of food, fun, and friendship! We hope to see you there!

Sunday, November 4, 2018
We will begin at 12:00 noon with check-in, followed by lunch in Fr. Turner Hall. The bus will depart at 1:00 PM to the Fiserv Fo-rum with tip-off at 2:30 PM. Depending on the length of the game, approximate return to Blessed Sacrament will be 5:30 - 6:00 PM, leaving you plenty of time to get home for the 7:20 PM Packer vs Patriots game.
The cost is $35.00 per person, first paid - first serve. You may bring cash or a check to Parish Office or drop it in the Sunday col-lection basket in a separate envelope marked "Bucks Trip" If you have any questions, please call Thomas Daniels at (414) 322-8423.
Milwaukee Life Chain Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM

Perhaps He has answered you, but you couldn’t hear Him. We talk to God, we ask for help, we thank Him for His many blessings, but do we hear God as we should? The world is loud, busy, and fast. We need to take time, step back, and listen.
Our Mother of Perpetual Help Retreat Center in Oconomowoc, is surrounded by acres of woods, water, and peace. Come see their beautiful new Mother of Perpetual Help Shrine, paved walkways, prayer gardens, outdoor labyrinth, and outdoor Stations of the Cross. Access to a beautiful chapel, daily Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a library, sitting rooms, tasty meals, an excellent staff, and a private room with shower, linens, towels, etc. will make a retreat experience refreshing for your body and soul.
The scheduled Blessed Sacrament Women’s Retreat weekend will include women from twelve other parishes in Southeast Wiscon-sin. Come share in a weekend of peace, prayer and rest. The re-treat starts early Friday evening, October 12th, and ends on Sun-day, October 14th at noon. God shows up….when we least ex-pect….in miracles….as well as whispers. Will you hear Him? Can You Spare Three Hours a Week?
Fr. Gene’s Help Center has achieved some success, but much needs to be done in order to take care of those who desperately need help. Since 1969, the Center has provided clothes free of charge to the poor and marginal men, women and children of our community. We offer a pleasant working conditions, flexible hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon), sorting, sizing, packing clothes, and office help.
We also accept clean clothing including shirts, slacks, blouses, skirts, coats, and shoes, bedding, linens, dishes, silverware, pots & pans, but no electrical appliances or furniture.

Prayer Service for Life at Blessed Sacrament Parish
