From the people that I surveyed, It seems to be that the main age range is people aged between 16-20. Due to the fact that people aged between 16-20 are the only people that have given me secondary research and knowledge of an audience, this will be my target audience. Also, younger people tend to be more engrossed and involved in music and music videos.

As a whole, it was mainly females that responded to my surveys, which shows that they have higher interest in music videos than men in order for them to want to put their

input into a survey based on music videos. This means that my product needs to keep women and their interests in mind e.g. what colors I should use and how I will address

certain topics and ideas in my music video.

As suspected most of the people who answered my survey mainly view music videos on YouTube. I expected this because YouTube is growing in popularity and it is so easy to go to the search box and find the music video you are wanting to watch and listen to, with the highest HD quality there is, rather than waiting for songs you like to come on on the TV.

These results show that just over half of the people who responded top my survey preferred music videos with a higher purpose and meaning than just a visually

pleasing video or the generic and conventional ‘finding love’ music video that is seen very often. This fits in nicely with my product as I was wanting to focus more on the message I would portray rather than the visuals as I find the message in a video the

best thing about a music video..
