In our group we decided to do out research in survey monkey and put it in facebook so different gender can answer the question. However, our age group its 15+.

How and What happened when we had the results?

When we done our question we included a question ‘what kind of sub genre would you like for a drama movie’ and we included our one which we decided to do and it was bullying but they mainly answered teenage or crime for drama sub genre which makes us to change our synopsis.

Like I said at the beginning of the power point, the audience like more of crime drama or teenage drama which makes us to change our synopsis and do either teenage or crime drama and change our initial plan where it is needed because if we stay with bullying we will have less audience which will affect the opening sequence by having less views.

How the results will affect the production of our opening sequence?

This is some examples of crime drama movies and there are more of them then there is of bullying which shows again there is less views and less interest for a bullying movies.

Page 15: Audience Research

Some examples of teenage drama movies and again we can see there are more examples of it because they have higher rating and more views then bullying movies especially for 15+ age group.

The age group that we have chosen watch more appealing movies like something going on in school/college or something with crime because it is more interesting and it has more effects and they learn about things in life. In bullying you still learn about life but in these two sub-genres you learn more.
