1.Guest rooms and suites

1.1Overview

Four Seasons Hotel Miami's 221 spacious guest rooms – including 39 suites – are housed between the 20th to 29th floors of an architecturally striking 70-storey tower of glass and granite reflecting the dazzling Biscayne Bay.

Spacious marble bathrooms incorporate signature Four Seasons touches: a deep soaking tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, large vanity and, in a separate alcove, a WC with telephone. Additional room amenities include a security safe, a refrigerated private bar, a remote-controlled television and DVD/CD player, a fax/modem line and high-speed Internet access.

1.2Always Complimentary

Daily fitness classes and hourly poolside services including chilled towels and frozen fruit are just two of the services and amenities we have always included as part of your stay – with no added charges.

1.2.2 Early arrivals and late departures

If your arrival is early in the day and you prefer immediate access to your room, we recommend reserving for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the Hotel. If you choose not to reserve, we will be glad to store your bags and make our fitness facilities available for you to freshen up.

1.2.3 Guaranteed reservations and deposits

At Four Seasons, a guaranteed reservation assures you of a room even if you check in late (after 6:00 pm). If a room is not available, we will arrange your accommodation in another hotel at our expense, and provide transportation to and from the Four Seasons Hotel as reasonable. All reservations made through the web site must be guaranteed to a major

credit card. Certain arrival dates and rates may require a deposit. Please check for full deposit requirements at time of booking.

1.2.4 Cancellation policy

Cancellations for a hotel room reservation must be received before 6:00 pm prior to the expected day of arrival, and may differ by arrival date and room type. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is not received by the required date, the Hotel will charge for one night's accommodation. For details of cancellation policies and deposit requirements, please check at time of booking.

1.2.6 Family plan

Four Seasons makes no additional charge for children 18 years old and under occupying the same guest room with parents or guardians (space permitting). Special rates may be available for two adults and two children 18 years of age and under occupying two rooms, subject to availability. Age limits for children occupying parents' or guardians' guest rooms at no additional charge may vary at some properties. For reservations and information, please contact the Hotel directly to make the best arrangements.

1.2.7 Families and special needs

Four Seasons Hotel Miami is a great base for families, with childproofed rooms available upon request. Children 18 years old and under can be accommodated free of charge in their parents' room or suite in a crib or rollaway. No-smoking rooms are available, as are babysitting services. We recommend contacting the Hotel directly to make the best arrangements.

2. Spa

The tranquil spa, operated by The SportsClub/LA, elevates personal indulgence to a fine art. An inspiring array of restorative and beauty

treatments is offered, to help guests look and feel their best, by promoting relaxation, invigoration and renewal.

The private treatment rooms include a dry redwood sauna, a Turkish steam room, a couple's suite where partners, mothers and daughters, or friends can enjoy treatments side by side, and a wet treatment area with a Vichy shower.

The Spa gift shop, offering a wide variety of bath, body and skin-care products, and the full-service RikRak beauty salon complement this serene space. After your treatment, relax at Pasha's Mediterranean Cuisine, overlooking the 80-foot (24-metre) waterfall. Spa treatments are also available in the pool cabanas, or, for a special treat, you can experience an in- room treatment.

3. Acqua

Located off the main lobby on the seventh floor, Acqua offers instant appeal with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the pool terrace, where guests may enjoy the tranquil ambience of dining overlooking the pool.

Acqua offers innovative contemporary seafood with Miami flair. Pair your meal with a bottle from our award-winning list of more than 200 labels, including our "green" wines.

4. Services and activities

4.1 Fitness facilities

Operated by the Sports Club/LA, the health club is open daily, and certified personal trainers are available to help guests get the most out of their workout. The club, located on the fourth floor, offers a variety of fitness classes for guests' use. The club's state-of-the-art equipment comes with individual headsets and televisions.

The facility includes a reception area and change rooms exclusively for guests of Four Seasons Hotel Miami, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

4.2 Pool

Backdropped by the Miami skyline, a magnificent outdoor terrace with lush landscaping, shaded alcoves, cabanas and umbrellas offers a calm respite from the buzz of the city. Guests can enjoy an aquatic workout before relaxing in the neighbouring whirlpool.

The experience is complemented by chaises longues in the sun or shade and a selection of complimentary magazines and sunscreen. You can also enjoy the creative food and beverage menus that are offered poolside.

Pool attendants are on hand to pamper guests with Evian

spritzes, cool towels and frozen fruit brochettes.

4.3.1 Golf

4.3.1.1Crandon Park Golf Course

Crandon Park Golf Course is a championship 18-hole golf course located on the "island paradise" of Key Biscayne, just 10 minutes from downtown Miami. It is the only public course on the Bay. Redesigned by Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin in 1993, the course features the world's largest tee, seven saltwater lakes, challenging sand traps, mangrove thickets, and many holes overlooking Biscayne Bay. The course is considered one of the most beautiful and difficult par-72 courses in the state and has been rated in the top ten courses by Golfweek, and one of AmDoral Golf Course

At Doral, five championship 18-hole courses await players of all skill levels. Designed by Dick Wilson and Raymond Floyd, they provide every conceivable kind of challenge, making Doral the ultimate golfing experience. The most demanding is the Blue Monster Course, home to the Doral-Ryder Open, held every March, and the Genuity Championship. Golf Magazine has named the Blue Monster's famous 18th hole one of the 500 World's Greatest Golf Holes.

4.3.1.2 Miami Beach Golf Club

Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, minutes from South Beach, Miami Beach Golf Course was redesigned by Arthur Hills in 2002. Beautiful, strategically placed water hazards and well-bunkered tees enhance the charm and challenge of the course.

4.3.2 Tennis

Brickell Tennis Club

Set in a convenient location only minutes from the Hotel, the Brickell Tennis Club features seven HydroCourt clay courts, along with an array of services and amenities, locker rooms and a fully stocked pro shop.

Tennis coordinators will find you a compatible and challenging match, or you may choose to treat yourself to a fantasy doubles match with tennis legends Owen Davidson and Cliff Drysdale. Programmes and services are suited for individuals, families and groups.

Racquet rentals, private lessons, daily shot clinics and afternoon junior programmes are available. Court fees are applicable; practice balls are complimentary. Shuttle transportation is also available and complimentary.

Whether yours is just beginning, all grown-up, or at any stage in-between, Four Seasons Hotel Miami is a wonderful base for your family. 8. About this destination

8.1 Transportation

Miami International Airport is 8 miles (13 kilometres) and approximately 20 minutes from the Hotel; Fort Lauderdale International Airport is 40 miles (64 kilometres) and approximately 50 minutes away. Both airports are served by all major airlines.

The Port of Miami’s cruise ship terminal is just 10 minutes, or 2 miles (3 kilometres), from the Hotel.

Rental cars can be arranged at both airports, as well as the Hotel through the Concierge. Limousine service, valet and self parking are also available.
