About
Innovative thermo-catalytic de-polymerisation process
Designed to generate Quality Fuel from
polymer waste
What is Pyrolysis oil?
» Pyrolysis oil is a Hydrocarbon liquid
» Pyrolysis oil is generated by de-polymerisation of plastic waste
» Applications:In electric generators, boilers, diesel pumps, furnaces, hot water generators, hot air generators, thermic fluid heater etc.
Why Pyrolysis Plant?
» Increase in fuel demand
» Fuel Prices continuously increasing
» World’s fossil fuel stocks expected to last another 80-120 years only
» Pollution control:Converting waste plastic/tyre into fuel & charcoal
Our strength
» RCFG has successfully developed a process & catalyst which
– Reduces De-polymerisation temperature from 600OC to 375-425OC
– Offers more than 35% of energy savings
Pyrolysis Reaction
• Long Chain Polymer
– Waste Plastic
– Waste Tyre/rubber
– Waste oils etc.
• Short Chain Polymer

Licensing & Certificates
• NOC from local municipal Corp.
• DIC registration
• NOC from PCB
• No petroleum license required for processing waste plastic as the final product is a crude.
• No explosive license for storage up to 25000 lit.
• License required for purification of petroleum products like petrol & diesel (automobile grade)
Emission Under ControlScrubbing sysems installed in pant to ensure:
1. No SOx or NOx emission
2. Process designed to destroy dioxin and furans if generated (not proven that pyrolysis plant generates there pollutants but still we have process to control this pollution
3. FSD installed
4. Scrubbing of flue gases to ensure no particulate matter emission and reducing the temperature of flue gases to room temperature
Commercial Aspects
• Pyrolysis oil Production cost: Rs. 14 to 18/lit (Plastic as RM)
• Pyrolysis oil Production cost: Rs. 18 to 22/lit (Tyre as RM)
• Pyrolysis oil is substitute to LDO & is sold at Rs. 30/Lit
• Carbon black/Charcoal is sold at Rs 7 to 9 per Kg (Rs. 9 to 12/kg –tyre as RM)
Funding & Subsidies
• Funding through MSME: up to 1Cr without co-lateral security
• Subsidies: 15% MSME, 15% State
• We are in talks with 2 other ministries for 35% and 50% subsidies respectively
Pyrolysis project highlights
» Raw Material: Readily available
» Payback period: 1.5 to 2.5 Years (depending on capacity & tyre of RM
» Plant is ‘energy self sufficient’
» Ready Buyers: Almost nil marketing efforts
» Perfect solution for waste plastic, rubber & tyre management.
