All the seedlings are freely distributed to the villagers.
Currently in the nursery there are more than 12 different tree species making a total of 400,000 seedlings
……FoU SUCCESS
Rising of people’s awareness on conservation People especially the
villagers, pupils, students and school teachers have been fully participative in our projects. FoU is currently receiving more than 5 letters per month from different villages managements and individuals and institutions asking for seedlings
……FoU SUCCESS
Our conservation projects are progressive at least to a point when 13 million trees planted.
FoU goals for the 2017
To extend planting projects to the most remote villages.
FoU will also extend the project to much more interior villages a key indicator of the forest resources consumption.
Increasing the number of schools More 4H groups will be formed to network different
planting and conservation techniques in sub urban areas to the country sides.
….FoU goals
Increasing theoretical and practical trainings on conservation/planting to school children.
Through classroom sessions children will be trained why and how to start tree nurseries for planting.
….FoU goals
Emphasis on Indigenous and fruit trees.
In this turn more indigenous and fruit trees will be planted to subside the villagers with fruits which will raise family incomes.
….FoU goals
For the 20% VDF being a ridged fund to hit such wider goals FoU asks for any possible help from whoever feels to join the move.
