Rmseed prices settled in flat negative note as higher demand from oil millers and crushers offset rise in

acreage in key growing areas. India's mustard seed acreage in the current rabi season stood at 7 million

ha, up by 11% a year-ago, according to data released from the agriculture ministry. Moreover,

conducive weather condition in key growing areas supportive for increase in yield there. Rmseed trade

ended the day at Rs. 3921 per quintal which is approx 0.36% down against its previous close. We

recommend sell Rmseed futures during today’s trading session.

CARDAMOM:-

Cardamom futures traded in range bound levels with downward bias in previous week. Supplies have

increased at the auction centers as prices increased last week and on expectations of good buying

activities ahead of Pongal festival across South Indian states. Demand is steady; however, there is slight

slowdown due to higher prices. Harvesting in the current season is almost complete amid lower crop

estimations by more than 50% compared to previous year. Cardamom trade ended the day at Rs. 1530

per kg which is approx 1.77% down against its previous close. We recommend sell Cardamom futures

during today’s trading session.
