• A need for safety professionals has continued to grow in spite of a shrinking U.S. manufacturing base.

• International standards protect workers everywhere and U.S.-based safety professionals oversee safety at facilities outside the U.S.

• Employment in Safety has continued to grow and this growth has continued, even in bad economic times.

• No reason to believe that the need for more safety professionals will diminish in the near future

• A need to replace those retiring from practice.
