Sony has created a unique and engaging experience for visitors exclusive Bentley dealership in Amsterdam. Customers of the prestigious car manufacturer can fulfill their dream in the first "no car showroom", thanks to laser projection 4K and Vision Presenter, Sony's interactive visualization solution. The Bentley dealership in the center of Amsterdam is located at the luxurious 5-star hotel Conservatorium. Well placed to attract the most demanding customers, the 78 m2 lounge is however not spacious enough to expose the wide range of vehicles of the automaker. Moreover, with over 1.3 billion available configurations for Bentley models, no licensee would be able to present them all. Strong supporter of the key role of interactive media in the future of automotive sales, Pon Luxury Cars - owner of the Amsterdam dealer - turned to Sony to create the first fully digital experience and wholly based on cutting-edge 4K technology to a car brand. For this project, which is unprecedented in the automotive industry, Sony has partnered with the integration partner AVEX with the aim of creating a solution of cutting edge AV 4K presentation that allows customers to interact virtually with the Bentley universe. The heart of the project is the configuration tool of the vehicles.

The high-resolution images of Vision Presenter are projected by the laser projector 4K ultra-short optical latest generation Sony VPL GTZ1, on a wall of the showroom 3.5 m. Qualche tempo fa, gradualmente, inizia a manifestarsi un dolore al braccio: “Davanti alla macchinetta del caffè, un mio collega mi afferrò il polso per impedirmi di pagare. Un gesto semplice che però mi fece saltare per il dolore. Preoccupato, feci qualche visita di controllo ma i medici non capivano cosa avessi. Qualche tempo dopo mi ferii a quello stesso braccio in modo molto superficiale ma la ferita, invece di rimarginarsi, cresceva in dimensioni e dolore.” A seguito di numerose visite ebbe la diagnosi: tumore maligno – sarcoma epithelioide – su tutta la regione ulnare. Dopo un primo ciclo di chemioterapia, persa totalmente la sensibilità a due dita e, parzialmente, a un terzo dito, l’arto dovette essere amputato poiché la massa tumorale aveva ormai toccato tendini, nervi e tessuti molli. L’azienda per cui lavorava, appresa l’entità della malattia e della successiva amputazione, decise di aiutare Carlo nella ricerca delle aziende fornitrici di protesi, per potergli assicurare un apparecchio adeguato alle sue esigenze. L’operazione non fu semplice poiché lo stesso staff medico appariva poco aggiornato sugli ultimissimi sviluppi in campo protesico. The first of three A350-1000 for flight tests - called MSN059 landed at Toulouse Blagnac airport, successfully completing its first flight, which lasted 4 hours and 18 minutes. Inside the cockpit, Hugues Van Der Stichel and Frank Chapman, Experimental Test Pilot two, and Gerard Maisonneuve, Test Flight Engineer. Nel corso di questo primo volo, l’A350-1000 è stato accompagnato da un altro aeromobile da cui sono state osservate e filmate le diverse manovre effettuate. Il volo di prova è stato anche seguito in tempo reale da un team di esperti a terra, attraverso a un collegamento telemetrico. “Abbiamo visto l’A350-1000 in azione per la prima volta. Il secondo aereo che prenderà il volo, l’MSN071, permetterà anch’esso di valutare le performance dell’aeromobile e sarà utilizzato, nello specifico, per testare il frenaggio, la motorizzazione, i sistemi di bordo e il pilota automatico. Il terzo e ultimo aeromobile ad alzarsi in volo, l’MSN065, condurrà i primi voli di lungo raggio e i test “Route proving”. Al termine della campagna, l’aeromobile otterrà la Certificazione di Tipo ed entrerà in servizio, prevedibilmente per la seconda metà del 2017, presso il
