Introducing ACE Guitar Pickups:
Alnico-Ceramics-The best of both worlds
We are pleased to announce our
new ACE™ Series guitar pickups.
Immaculately designed to deliver
tone perfection, they harness the
power and best features of both
Alnico and Ceramic magnets to give
the discerning guitarist a powerful
and legendary tone.
“Built to produce a hot tone you expect from an Alnico with the balancing
tones you enjoy in a ceramic,” says Clyde Clark, President and Principal
Engineer of Bartolini, “it is two musical flavors joined into one”. The
pickups are designed in both single coil and humbucker styles.

The President’s Voice
“Bartolini is taking it up an Octave”
Thank you, to everyone that stopped by our booth at NAMM. We are riding a
new wave of excitement about the Bartolini brand. More than ever, people
want to find the right way to express the voice of their music. Whether the
deep warmth, funky crunch or a focused slap, bassists want their instrument
to shine. We’ve always made guitar pickups, but the new ACE guitar pickup
series is where the future lies. Have a look inside and see what people are
taking about!

Eight String Guitars!
Bass and Guitar together Many players are catching the fever: seven
and 8-string guitars that mix a bit of bass with
the electric vibe. At Bartolini, we are all about
the music and ways to give your instrument its
true voice, whether 4 string bass or a guitar,
our engineering department has been working
hard to design the right pickup for your appli-
cation. With 8-string guitars becoming main
stream, we have developed a pickup with the
depth and breadth you need for your 8-string.

NAMM 2015 in Anaheim:
Bartolini has been a presence at NAMM for many years. As a regular,
we have always found the show to be a great opportunity to talk about
our business, meet both new and existing customers. We were very
pleased to not only meet with our customers and suppliers but to hear
how excited everyone seemed to be at our efforts to take the Bartolini
brand to the next level.
With close to 20 scheduled meetings and several impromptu opportu-
nities to meet new and existing clients, we were thrilled to make new
friends and share our story with old friends. International distributors,
domestic outlets and Bartolini artists all came by one by one to share
in the growing ground swell of enthusiasm.
We had several performances and demonstrations by Bartolini
Endorsers including: Curt Chambers, Bubby Lewis, Matt Hayes, Doug
Johns, Jeff Fogerty, Vik Momjian, Pennal Johnson and many more!
We were even graced by George Clinton and Lee Sklar who both
stopped by to say hello!
On display were works by several of our
friends. Beautifully hand made instruments
were on display including items by Elrick,
Sukop, Brubaker, Novax and Roscoe and a
few others. All of which featured Bartolini
Pickups and Electronics.
All in all NAMM was a highly successful
time for us, increasing not only our visibility
in the marketplace but boosting sales at a
time where we are seeing orders at an all
time company high!

Artist Endorsers!
Bartolini has long had a loyal
following of artists from the
home spun hobbyist to the
successful professional stage
and studio musician.
Last summer we formalized
our relationships with both and
have seen a huge growth in
artists who not only use our
pickups and electronics, but
are enthusiastic promoters of
the Brand.
These include artists:
Curt Chambers-both guitar
and bass for Dr. Dre, Eminem,
and Rihanna.
Courtney Leonard support-
ing Beyoncé’ on bass
Chuck Jacobs working with
Kenny Rogers
Robert “Bubby Lewis on
bass for Snoop Dog
Matt Hayes-bass for Wayne
Newton, just to name a few.
Orlando Wright– Buddy
Guy’s Band!
Lige Curry—George Clinton
and Funkadelic
And many others!
We are certainly honored to
work with so many great art-
ists and look forward to an
even greater year as the
ground swell continues.

Artist taking it to the streets Bartolini Artists are really taking things to the next level. Re-
cently two of our endorsers were playing in high profile
shows. Curt Chambers, a multi-instrument virtuoso, had the
opportunity to play guitar for Rihanna in a pre-super bowl
party in front of thousands. His guitar work supported not only
Rihanna, but also Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney!
He had the opportunity to re-
prise the performance at the
Grammy’s, not long after that!
Curt also plays bass for Dr.
Dre’ in the studio where Curt
uses Bartolini Pickups as the
foundation of his sound.
Curt released two singles in
2012; “Out of Body” and
“Grass is Greener” which can
be purchased in many outlets and seen on VH1.
Courtney Leonard recently found an opportunity to play bass
backing up Beyoncé’ at the Grammy’s. He has been a staple
in the success of Artists coming through the American Idol
circuit while assisting singers and performers taking their
artistry to the next level.
Social Responsibility Because it’s the right thing to
do... The Bartolini philosophy of Social Responsibility stems
from the idea that we support and promote good things
for those around us simply because it is the right thing to
do for our society. We believe that making a real differ-
ence in the lives of those around us is an important part
of living and working in our community.
When we find partners who are invested in educating
others, in caring and in making a difference, we want to
be a part of that effort. Whether this means we directly
support those organizations and individuals, talk about
them or both, it is our belief that, together, we can make
a difference and create a better world because of it.
Bartolini believes in music and the arts so when social
responsibility and the arts partner together, we get
excited about it.
Singularity: Single Coil Soap Bars!

single coil lovers in mind. Players who use soapbar style
pickups can now get the world-renowned Bartolini tone
found in Jazz Bass® (J Bass®) models.
“We call it the SINGULARITY Series because of its
uniqueness and single coil configuration,” says Clyde
Clark, President and Principal Engineer at Bartolini, “there
has been tremendous demand from players and luthiers
alike.”
Available for 4, 5, and 6 string basses, these pickups
come in many soapbar shapes and sizes, including M3,
M4, MK, P2, P4, and BC. They are offered in matched
sets with reverse polarity for hum cancellation. “J-Bass

We are striving to be a positive
influence in the community
One aspect of our social re-
sponsibility initiative is to be
environmentally conscientious.
Our packaging was chosen to
be both recyclable and made
from recycled materials.
"When I was given the oppor-
tunity to head Bartolini, I knew
I wanted to take a close look
at processes, products and
packaging to coincide with my
personal philosophy of caring
for our environment." Says
Clyde Clark, President of Bar-
tolini. "We made a concerted
effort to find ways to sync up
our manufacturing and prod-
ucts with the environment in
mind."
Our pickup and module boxes
are now made out of 80% re-
cycled material and the boxes
we use for harnesses are
made from 100% recycled ma-
terials.

Social Media is Here! Bartolini has entered the social media race. In 2013 we set up
our Facebook page but 2014 saw our greatest activity with
our page likes reaching an unprecedented 10,000 likes! We
have reached a milestone in awareness of our brand. While
we have a solid name in the music industry, “Our outreach
program, enhanced by our relationship with Dana B. Goods,
our US distributor, has never been stronger. Katie Teague, of
DBG was instrumental in helping us gain traction in the world
of Facebook” says Clyde Clark,.
We have learned a lot from our experience with Facebook
and are taking steps into other forms of Social Media. We
have a Twitter page and have recently added Instagram to
our arsenal of social networking tools.
As we continue to develop our marketing strategies, we will
be looking at the value of other sites to connect with our audi-
ence and develop new ways to get the word out about Bartoli-
ni!

Even Better Support! We recently took on a new challenge to
provide even better support to our partners and end-users. We
recognize that when you need a little help it’s nice to find it with
greater ease.
As we strive to bring a new level of care to the marketplace, we
have found tools to enable us to not only be more responsive
but to track our efforts. This means that when we engage with
retailers, builders, and players we have the ability develop a
best in show experience.
We are building a system that is dynamic and will grow as we
find issues and develop solutions for our customer. Thank you
for supporting Bartolini and our goal to help you make the music
that you love!
