• Their time span was from 2500-7000 BC.

• The term ‘Veda’ is derived from the root word‘Vid’ which refers to universal knowledge.

• Propagated by ancient sages for the spiritual and social benefit of the entire humanity.

• Vedas are timeless and have universal application.

• Oldest and most revered literature.
