Definition of Terms Fare Passenger Carriage Stopover – a pre-

arranged and deliberate interruption of a journey by the passenger at any point between the departure from origin to arrival at destination.

Journey – consists of the entire routing.

Anatomy of a Journey Origin – initial or starting point and

the first ticketed point in the routing. Destination – the ultimate

stopping place of the journey and the terminal point in the routing.

final destination, which is not the same point as the origin.
