1999 - Gathers 17 of his friends to invest in Alibaba. The same year gets funding from Goldman Sachs and SoftBank
2005 – Yahoo invests $1 billion for 40% stake in the company
2013 – Breaks the record for the biggest IPO in the US history by raising $150 billion
Today – Alibaba is the largest retailer in the world
