What makes us special Having lived in Italy for over 20 years, the family behind L’Osteria have enjoyed bringing the rich Italian culture to Melbourne since 1986. The home style nature of the restaurant has reflected in the desire of clients to host their intimate family functions at L’Osteria in recent years. L’Osteria has been home to many special events such as Wedding Receptions, Holy Communions, 21st Birthdays and 60th Anniversaries.

Flexible Arrangements We are able to accommodate up to 90 guests at the restaurant. You can choose to book out the entire venue or have a portion of the restaurant to yourself. We understand that it can be hard organising gatherings so we are happy for you to confirm the finer details of the booking closer to the day. We personally decorate each function table with the appropriate table settings but can also accommodate additional decorations such as balloons and flowers.

Room hire cost: $0 Minimum spend to book out the whole venue for Lunch: $1000 Minimum spend to book out the whole venue for Sunday – Thursday night: $1,800 Minimum spend to book out the whole venue for Friday – Saturday night: $2,800 Deposit required to confirm booking: 20% - bank transfer, cash or EFTPOS (2.5% surcharge) Cakeage: $0 (for $50 menu option and above) Corkage: $3pp (drink packages/bar tab also available)
