Bring in a cake that you baked and frosted at home.

Store bought single layer cake that only has the finish frosting is a good idea.

If you have a tube cake, frost the inside too.

A crumb coat is not a final coat…. Spelling counts in any language.

Its hard to decorate a cake that is inside a roasting pan.

Planning is important when writing on a cake. Practice on paper first.

Store bought decorations do not improve your grade. Do not use sprinkles or plastic figures!

Clean your plate edge or it may distract from your hard work!

Make sure that your design is not questionable….

Sometimes less is more….

Sometimes you have to make do with what you have …
