From twinkling lakes to wild and romantic mountains to the cultural centres – you will find everything that our province has to offer near our comfortable and in-expensive hostels.

Single to more-bedded rooms, spacious common rooms, beautiful gardens and modern equipment pro-vide the right facilities for every age group. No matter what your plans are: School trips, group tours, work-shops or just holidays for the whole family. Of course there’s no age limit.

Choose from a varied cuisine with regional specialities from breakfast to full board and a wide range of sports, cultural and relaxing activities. We will be pleased to welcome you soon as a guest in one of our hostels and wish you a pleasant stay.

About us:The Upper Austrian Youth Hostelling Association is a non-profit organisation, member of the IYHF and part of the world’s largest network of hostels.

Our aim is to make a stay in our hostels possible for everybody. We offer good quality at reasonable pri-ces.

Youth hostels are places where people from all over the world meet and become friends in a tolerant and cordial atmosphere.

They are the ideal meeting point for pupils, sports- and other groups but also for families and individuals of all ages.

At our hostels there’s no age limit. You only need a hostelling membership card, the key to more than 4.000 hostels worldwide. All prices in this brochure are for members of Hostelling International.

How to become a member:

If you live in Austria, you can order the membership card online or buy it at the reception. In other cases please contact your national Hostelling Association.

Our hostel:Situated at lake Wolfgangsee, next to the beach, this house is a paradise for watersports fans. Moreover, the unique lake and mountain scenery offers a wide range of leasuretime activities for all age groups.

Facilities:40 rooms, all recently renovated and with private shower and toilet. You can choose bet-ween single-, two- or more-bedded rooms.

Common rooms with TV, seminar rooms with technical equipment, a rustic cellar for group evenings, table soccer, table tennis, garden with benches, WIFI, board games rental, sauna during winter, heated ski depot, parking Meals:Breakfast buffet is included. You can also order in advance half- and full board as well as vegetarian meals or packed lunch.

Region:Sports, nature, culture and watersports at the lake – the holiday region Wolfgangsee offers the full holiday fun-package.

Leasuretime activities:

Sports: swimming, surfing, sailing, water-skiing, rowing, diving, bump-riding, para-sailing, boat trips, tennis, mountainbiking, hiking, climbing, minigolf

Our hostel:Situated in the heart of the picturesque small town of Mondsee, the lately renovated hostel is only a short walk away from the crystal-clear water of Lake Mondsee. Individual service and a homely atmosphere as well as the excellent cuisine and various leasuretime activities will make your stay in Mondsee a great experience.

Our hostel:The modern youth hostel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood yet in the heart of the town of Bad Ischl, next to the adventure outdoor pool with view of the famous Kaiservilla.
