TWITTER CHATS TIPS: DURING THE CHAT Be sure to include the chat hashtag in every tweet. The tweet chat host will use “Q” and the number for each question. When you respond or answer the Q, mark it with A (for answer) and the

Like or retweet their tweets. Chat with them (using the hashtag) during the chat. Let me know you like their
tweet. Don’t over promote, but do use the chat to highlight your expertise, share
knowledge about the topic, etc. If your recent blog post, upcoming event, or services can provide value to people
in the chat and relates to the conversation, mention it in your tweets.

TWITTER CHATS TIPS: AFTER THE CHAT Follow up after the tweet chat. If others retweeted your tweet, thank them. Offer compliments to other participants, the host and guest. You’ll probably meet new people and get new followers through the tweet
chat. Introduce yourself and follow them back. Follow the people behind those tweets and keep the chat/convo going! If you enjoyed the chat, tweet that you will see everyone next week or
whenever the next chat is scheduled.
