What’s the Buzz?
There is a strategy that makes growing a business so effortless, so simple, so obvious, that most
people are shocked when they first discover it. They find themselves wondering why they
haven’t been using it from the start.
pg. 3 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
Before you roll your eyes thinking that this is just another self-proclaimed expert with all the
answers, let me tell you what this is not:
• This is not about mastering a new skill or learning a new system.
• This is not about stepping up or playing a bigger game.
• This is not about creating more products or building a bigger team.
It’s about a shift that will make you see your business differently.
It’s a method that will reveal why you’ve been struggling or feeling overwhelmed.
It’s a method that shows you exactly what to focus on and in which direction to go next.
This is an approach to business that reveals a growth path for you so clear and obvious, you’ll
wonder why you haven’t seen it before.

My Story
When I imagined building a million-dollar business, I thought it
would feel like a "MILLION DOLLARS!”
We measure the success of our businesses, consciously or sub-
consciously, when we hit a milestone, like a six-figure mark, or
seven-figure mark, right? We feel like we achieved a certain level
of success, impact, and status in our industry.... A 7A 7A 7A 7----figure business figure business figure business figure business
iiiis s s s likelikelikelike the the the the Holy GrailHoly GrailHoly GrailHoly Grail in online marketing.in online marketing.in online marketing.in online marketing. It’s what we strive for.
I was surrounded by people who were making 7 and 8 figures, so
it sort of became my goal. I felt like the only way to succeed or to
be seen as successful was to reach that level of income.
But wBut wBut wBut when I finally surpassed seven figures, I didn't even notice ithen I finally surpassed seven figures, I didn't even notice ithen I finally surpassed seven figures, I didn't even notice ithen I finally surpassed seven figures, I didn't even notice it. I
was too busy working. It didn't feel like anything special. No more
special than making six figures. No more special than getting a
thirty-thousand-dollar job offer after college.
Most importantly, it didn't make me feel any happier or more successful. My dreams did not
match the reality of what I was living every day. I was always busy and stressed out, and even
began having panic attacks, which were absolutely scary and debilitating.

“No Celebration for Me”
So instead of celebrating the fact that I made over a million dollars, I walked away from it all. I
sold my business and went on sabbatical. In fact, what I did celebrate was that I was able to let
it go. Let go of the idea that a 7-figure business meant success. It just wasn’t enough.
After leaving, I began looking closely at what was missing. Was I crazy to walk away from a
million-dollar company? Was I unique in my experience? And most importantly, where did I go
wrong?
I started my business back in 2001, the time when you
could get an idea, create a web site, and become a
money-making “pioneer” in your niche. I remember
sitting at my kitchen table in Carlisle, Pennsylvania
leading a teleseminar with people from Australia,
Germany, Iceland, Canada. For many of them, this was
their first teleseminar ever!
Everything was new and revolutionary. There were just
a few ways to promote yourself online, and all you
needed was the desire and drive. Life was simple.
pg. 6 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
If you were to start a business today, you would probably find yourself completely lost and
overwhelmed with all the tools, skills, strategies that you’d need to learn. But that’s okay,
because there are so many people spilling their secrets, there’s no shortage of experts ready to
show you the ropes, right? There’s only one problem…
pg. 7 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
“On the Brink of Burnout”
I recently surveyed thousands of coaches, authors, speakers, and entrepreneurs. Of those who
responded, almost 92% said they were overwhelmed and stressed out from the daily grind of
growing their business.
Some people I spoke to got really emotional and shared with me the fear, frustration, and
pressure they feel to drive their business forward. Or, from having to maintain what they’ve
created. Here are just a few things I heard:
• “It’s gotten so complicated. I just want to STOP.”
• “Maybe I am just not ready for this level of growth.”
• “I hate to do this, but this is the way I have to do it to get the results I want.”
• “This feels like the same old rat race I ran away from when I left corporate America.”
• “I am always ON, thinking about my business, selling, marketing, delivering!”
And here’s a big one…
• “People I thought were my role models are actually quite unhappy, so now I am even
more confused.”
pg. 8 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
As someone who recently left a very successful seven-figure business myself, I began asking
questions and digging deeper into what this is really about. In the process I made a fascinating
discovery that I am going to share with you in this book.
So if you find yourself overwhelmed andoverwhelmed andoverwhelmed andoverwhelmed and frustratedfrustratedfrustratedfrustrated with all the choices out there – with all the
strategies, tools, programs, and systems – and feel confused about the right path for you, keep
watching. This is also for you if you are experiencing “business growth fatigue”“business growth fatigue”“business growth fatigue”“business growth fatigue” and not sure how
to untangle all the complexity in your business. What I am about to share will reveal a much
easier and more effortless approach to growing a business.

“Complexity Mindset”
Right now there’s a shift happening in our industry. There have never been as many ways to
spread your message and grow your business as there are today. Between social media, mobile
apps, email, content marketing, video, outsourcing, collaboration, and lifestyle business models,
you can scale and grow your business any way you want.
The problem is The problem is The problem is The problem is notnotnotnot that that that that wewewewe don't know don't know don't know don't know HOWHOWHOWHOW to grow to grow to grow to grow ourourourour businessbusinessbusinessbusinesseseseses. . . . We are overwhelmed and
confused with all the choices and decisions. So we end up buying lots of systems, investing into
learning a lot of different skills, paying attention to a lot of trends and advice…we’re trying
hundreds of tools and strategies and looking at each other to see what we should be doing,
only to find ourselves completely overwhelmed and confused again.

Early Success
My early business success was very simple. My goals were simple. I was just
focused on staying home with my two small children and replacing my salary.
Coming from a classical music background, I started completely from scratch.
There weren’t a lot of business coaches or experts to turn to back then, so I just
did what felt natural to me at the time. I created and delivered products. Then I
would hibernate for a couple of months, enjoy lots of time off, and did it all over
again. In less than 3 years I was making six figures.
In a few more years I was generating about half-a-million dollars a year working 5
hours a day, and my family thought I was “selling oxygen.”
pg. 11 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
“The Fun is Over”
Then something changed. I started putting a lot of effort into my business, but not getting the
results I expected. The stakes were a lot higher and I had a lot more responsibilities, so it just
stopped being fun. I worked long days and did what I had to do, but it made no difference to my
income, and I was just getting more tired and frustrated.
My friends were also noticing that I changed. “Where’s the Milana we know, the one who used
to wake up excited about her business, and couldn’t wait to share her new ideas?”
Soon I got a sign that it was time to change something. I began having panic attacks, really bad
ones. When they first started, I had no idea what was happening – I’d never even heard of panic
attacks before. I was scared and embarrassed because they could happen at any time for no
apparent reason.
As I started sharing this with other people, everyone offered a different opinion and a reason
why I was getting them. But one thing was clear - panic attacks were a messenger that it was
time to change something in my life.
I didn’t know what it was yet, but looking back now, I can see that I got caught up in the
“complexity” of my business. I dreaded about 70% of the work I did. I was doing things only
because I saw others doing them. I pushed myself hard and when I didn’t hit my income goals, I
felt disappointed and confused.
pg. 12 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
When I finally reached a million-dollar mark, I didn’t even realize it. I was too busy delivering
and marketing my programs, dealing with the details of running a company, and tackling the
never-ending list of projects. The complexity reached a point where I could no longer think
clearly or enjoy my business.
What surprised me most though was that I didn’t
realize any of this until later.
SoSoSoSo you may actually be operating from a place of you may actually be operating from a place of you may actually be operating from a place of you may actually be operating from a place of
“complexity” “complexity” “complexity” “complexity” right now right now right now right now and not know it.and not know it.and not know it.and not know it. And you may
never get a panic attack like I did, but if you’ve been
feeling stuck, overwhelmed, stressed out, or simply
uninspired about your business, it’s time to take a
look at what may be causing it and how to get into a
space where you can grow your business with
confidence, ease, and excitement.

“The Red Flags”
So let’s do a quick reality check. How many of these apply to you right now?
• Feeling constantly busy or anxious about your business
• Judging yourself for “playing too small”
• Trying to model successful people, but not getting the results you want.
• Feeling like you lost the enthusiasm or confidence around your business
These are just a few signs that you’re operating from a
place of complexity, where you’re pushing for results pushing for results pushing for results pushing for results
instead of aligning yourself with the right strategy.instead of aligning yourself with the right strategy.instead of aligning yourself with the right strategy.instead of aligning yourself with the right strategy.
So what I am about to share will completely shift your
ability and capacity to grow your business. You will start
seeing clearly why you’ve been stuck or frustrated, and
exactly what to do next to unleash your business growth.

“The Simple Solution”
If you’ve been looking to grow your business but haven’t done what you think it takes, it may be
for one of these 5 reasons or thoughts you’re having. Let me see if I can read your mind:
1. ““““IIII am afraid to grow my businessam afraid to grow my businessam afraid to grow my businessam afraid to grow my business – it might take too much out of me, and I don’t know
what it might do to my family and my life.”
2. ““““I am not sure where I should be headed.I am not sure where I should be headed.I am not sure where I should be headed.I am not sure where I should be headed. I wish I had more confidence and clarity on my
direction, and how all the pieces fit together.”
3. ““““I’d love to play “bigI’d love to play “bigI’d love to play “bigI’d love to play “biggergergerger”””” but I don’t really want to do the things I don’t enjoy, like
marketing!”
4. ““““I don’t know who to listen toI don’t know who to listen toI don’t know who to listen toI don’t know who to listen to: who has the right system, the right advice? It’s all so
confusing!”
5. “I am already maxed “I am already maxed “I am already maxed “I am already maxed out;out;out;out; I can’t imagine adding anything else to my business right now!”
Did any of these feel true for you? Do you believe that growth HAS to come with a tradeoff,
stress, or sacrifice? Or do you believe deep down in your heart that you can have a profitable
business that you love?
What I am here to tell you is there IS a way to grow your business with peace of mind, clarity of
direction, and confidence.

I am not trying to say that growing a business is easy. There are a lot of moving parts and skills
you need for creating any kind of successful business. The good news is that it CAN be simple –
if you understand the simplicity principle.
pg. 16 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
“The Simplicity Principle”
The ““““simplicity principle”””” comes from Albert Einstein:
"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.""Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.""Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.""Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler."
This implies that “less is more”, and that we must "simplify”
everything as much as possible, leaving only what’s absolutely
essential.
Operating with the “simplicity principle” in mind means that you
remove all the “clutter” and ignore all the “noise” in your
business environment, revealing a beautiful, clear, and almost obvious path to growth.
So as business owners, we must answer this question:
Where does simplicity come from?Where does simplicity come from?Where does simplicity come from?Where does simplicity come from?
In other words, WHAT IS SIMPLE? WHAT IS ESSENTIAL?
How do we know what to KEEP and what to LET GO or IGNORE?
Here’s the reality: things are only complicated when we see them as complicated, so simplicity
is subjective, right? What’s simple to one person may be complex to another.
pg. 17 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
So instead of following what everyone else is doing or telling you to do, you first must understand
your unique personality and your own natural abilities. Then use them as a guide to create a custom-
fit business that is a full expression of you. Does that make sense?
So, tSo, tSo, tSo, thehehehe “Simplicity Principle” means that your business is so fully aligned with your personality that you “Simplicity Principle” means that your business is so fully aligned with your personality that you “Simplicity Principle” means that your business is so fully aligned with your personality that you “Simplicity Principle” means that your business is so fully aligned with your personality that you
are able to achieve optimal results with ease.are able to achieve optimal results with ease.are able to achieve optimal results with ease.are able to achieve optimal results with ease.
I am about to show you how to apply simplicity to your business, but first let’s get a few
misperceptions out of the way.
pg. 18 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
“What Simplicity Is Not”
• Simplicity does NOT mean “simplistic” or “simple-minded.”
• Simplicity does NOT mean you are scaling back, slowing down, or playing small.
• Simplicity does NOT mean you make less money.
In fact, when you use the simplicity approach in your business, you can play as BIG as you want.you can play as BIG as you want.you can play as BIG as you want.you can play as BIG as you want.
You can start a movement, achieve whatever goals you set for yourself, and do it without the
struggle, frustration, or constantly measuring yourself against someone else. You can still push
yourself and drive your business forward, but in the direction that is right for YOU.
When I first left my 7-figure business, I told myself, “That’s okay. I don't need to play big. I am
okay having smaller goals." And I’ll be honest, at the time it felt like the right place for me to be.
But when I discovered simplicity, I realized that you CAN play biBut when I discovered simplicity, I realized that you CAN play biBut when I discovered simplicity, I realized that you CAN play biBut when I discovered simplicity, I realized that you CAN play bigggg – as long as you make the
simplicity principle your growth strategy. In fact, I got so excited about this whole idea and this
new way of approaching business growth, that I formed a new company and called it Simplicity
Circle! A little later, I’ll tell you more about how I can personally guide you in creating your own
simplicity business and the very cool process I developed to help you go from complexity to
simplicity.
But for now let’s talk about how to apply the simplicity principle to your own business so you
can grow with confidence and excitement.

“Simplicity is a Choice – So is Complexity”
Most people who talk about simplifying refer to things like leveraging, streamlining, or
automating things in their business. And all of these can be helpful, but simplifying is more than
just taking care of the “symptoms.”

Creating a Simplicity Business
At first, I didn't know how to talk about
simplicity. I could feel it in my heart, I could
guide you to it in a conversation, but I couldn't
grasp it enough to teach it. I could see an
obvious next step or an obvious solution or

It’s so intangible; I’ve never taught anything like

“Trapped in Complexity”
You’re about to discover the 6 biggest complexity traps that are undermining your business
growth and making your life much harder than it needs to be. When you escape these 6 traps,
you accelerate your business growth, because everything that remains moves you forward
simply and easily.
For the last few yearsFor the last few yearsFor the last few yearsFor the last few years I’ve been trapped in complexity.I’ve been trapped in complexity.I’ve been trapped in complexity.I’ve been trapped in complexity. I went from being a music teacher from
Ukraine and knowing absolutely nothing about business to creating a million-dollar coaching
company that I ran from my home. And even though I had the opportunity to serve thousands
of business owners around the world, I became miserable.
On the outside I was perceived as very successful, at the top of my game, running a successful
community; but nobody knew how I was struggling on the inside.
After I left my last business, I went on sabbatical. I wanted to figure out the true nature of
business success: why are some people really successful and others are struggling? And why do
even successful people find themselves unhappy?
What I found was very exciting and completely different than what I had been taught. I was
taught that you just had to want it bad enough and push hard enough to get the results that
you wanted. The problem was, this is the exact advice that burned me out. It trapped me in a
game that was impossible to win.
pg. 26 Copyright © 2017, Milana.com, LLC & SimplicityCircle.com
What I discovered was the exact opposite of that. How to create a business that allows me to
do my best work, focus on what I love, and create massive results – without the stress and
anxiety that so many business owners experience. And you can do the same. You can build a
business that SERVES you instead of one that traps you.

“The 6 Complexity Traps”
Let’s take a look at what causes complexity in a growing business.
Every Every Every Every business starts with an ideabusiness starts with an ideabusiness starts with an ideabusiness starts with an idea – you see some sort of need in the market and feel that you
can support it. And make a living along the way, right? You’re excited and you’re ready to jump
in. You love the dream of creating a business, but before you know it, you move away from your
core idea. And the creative inspired entrepreneur who started the business suddenly has to
become a leader and manager.
Some people find that it’s exactly what they were born to do – lead, manage, and build an
“empire.” But many don’t want that at allBut many don’t want that at allBut many don’t want that at allBut many don’t want that at all. Before they know it, they’re managing a team,
delivering multiple programs and services, and planning their growth strategy for the next five
years.
Little by little, complexity begins creeping up on you. The business starts taking over your life,
and the lifestyle you were dreaming about goes out the window. Stress and anxiety becomes
the normal state of being. Because every product launch, every joint venture, every event, and every product launch, every joint venture, every event, and every product launch, every joint venture, every event, and every product launch, every joint venture, every event, and

you take a stand on a specific topic, then suddenly everything falls into place. You know exactly
who to market to, what products and services to create, and where to spend your time to reach
your ideal audience.
I may have had over 50 different products and programs in my career, but I’ve always taken a
stand for helping coaches, authors, and speakers turn their expertise into a lifestyle business. So
I’ve always known where and how to reach my ideal clients, and that gave my business a
phenomenal laser focus.

#2: Juggling Multiple Partners or Promotions
I’ve used Joint Ventures throughout my business and I totally love the idea of having JV partners
to support each other, promote each other, build a bigger mailing list….
But as I look back at HOW I was working with my partners, I realize that this was a big part of
what created complexity for me. My calendar was filled with partner promotions almost
weekly. Some weeks I had to support multiple partners. And other weeks I would have several
overlapping promotions of my own programs.
And I am not alone in this. I see many of my peers and clients trying to figure out how to
promote lots of different products, programs, and partners at the same time, which is how we
get ourselves into situations that lead to complexity and confusion.
The way to avoid falling into this trap is being very strategic and having a very clear Unifying having a very clear Unifying having a very clear Unifying having a very clear Unifying
Strategy for your businessStrategy for your businessStrategy for your businessStrategy for your business, then using it as a filter to make all your decisions. Just because we
can promote someone or something doesn’t mean it’s the right thing for our business at this
time.

#3: Investing In Multiple Training Programs or Multiple Mentors at the Same Time
I recently had an experience where I worked with two different coaches at the same time and
each one literally told me to do what the other said to never do. I felt confused because I
respected both of them. They were both smart and successful business owners, so I found
myself paralyzed and unable to move forward in either direction.
I’ve also seen people enroll into multiple training programs and then try to keep up with all of
them, which can lead to a burnout.
The best way avoid this complexity trap is to focus on one
training, mentor, or system at a time.
Sometimes it’s hard to do because we see a new product
launch every week, and we want to try all the trainings, all
the programs, all the new secret methods, right? WhWhWhWhen you en you en you en you

How many training or coaching programs have you invested in over the last few years? If you’ve
been trying to grow your business, probably quite a few, right?
Some of them worked for you a little, and others didn’t do anything at all. So when a new
program lands in your inbox and it looks attractive, you’re probably thinking, “Now THIS one
may be the answer to my problem.”
The challenge is that many times we keep going through training after training, system after
system, without any significant results…and we never stop and ask ourselves, “Why DIDN’T we
get results?” Sometimes we blame the creator of the program, and sometimes we blame
ourselves – we are not smart enough, or we are not ready enough, or we just didn’t implement
everything.

Because it’s much easier to get results from a strategy or method that is based on your
superskills, which are your highest innate abilities that will produce the best results.
I’ve been investing into speaker training for years, but I’ve never been able to get the kind of
results that I see other people get. Today I know that speaking is actually not one of my
superskills, which is fine because I have a few others that allow me to get amazing results.

So if you don’t know what your superskills are, then you may struggle for years trying to achieve
results from a system or strategy that is not a good fit for you.
When I left my last business, I knew I was going to start a new one and develop new programs
and products. But I wanted to make sure that this time I honor the unique personalities and
natural abilities of my clients, that one size does NOT fit all, that just because I was successful
with a strategy in my business doesn't mean my clients will be…
…That when I say that my system is the fastest and easiest way to succeed in business, it's
because it allows people to leverage their own superskills. And that’s exactly how I created my
new program, Simplicity BlueprintSimplicity BlueprintSimplicity BlueprintSimplicity Blueprint, where I will be personally guiding and coaching you in
creating your own simplicity business.
I will share more on this later.

#5: Rapidly Growing a Team to Support Multiple Projects and Goals
Whether you have one Virtual Assistant right now or a team of 10, you can still fall
into this trap. I used to say, “If you don’t want to do something, or don’t have the
skills, delegate! Outsource!”
But what happens when you hire other people? You end up creating a team that
you must manage! You now have more decisions to make and more challenges are taking up
space in your brain. All of this adds a new layer of complexity in your business.
In my last company I had a lot of things I wanted to do. So I went from having three people on
my team to suddenly running a team of twelve in a matter of months.
At first it was a great source of pride and accomplishment – I now had a real company with a big
team! But within a few months, I watched my agile quick-moving business
turn into a slow-creeping “train.” Discussions and decisions had to go
through multiple layers of the team, making every project or idea take
forever to come to life. It became a frustrating experience with “complexity”
written all over it.
I am not saying not to hire a team – you need support to achieve your goals. But you want to
hire people to support the right projects at the right time; projects that fit into your Unifying
Strategy and help you achieve your most important goals. You want toYou want toYou want toYou want to make sure you only hire make sure you only hire make sure you only hire make sure you only hire

#6: Constant Comparison to Successful People In The Industry
This one is actually the underlying “hidden” reason for the
complexity that many people are experiencing.
Everyone at every level of income is watching what others are
doing and wondering, “Why can’t I do that? What’s wrong with
me? Others are making ten times what I am making!” I remember
completing a quarter-of-a-million-dollar launch… and feeling like I
failed because my friend just had a two-million-dollar launch.
This kind of thinking can lead to a lot of stress and unhappiness. No matter how welNo matter how welNo matter how welNo matter how well you do in l you do in l you do in l you do in
your business, it your business, it your business, it your business, it never never never never FEELSFEELSFEELSFEELS good enough, because someone else is doing better.good enough, because someone else is doing better.good enough, because someone else is doing better.good enough, because someone else is doing better. We fall into this
trap when we look at someone who is successful and try to imitate them.
But everyone is different; they have different SUPERSKILLS than you. Simplicity happens when
you’re confident in your own superskills and you know that nobody else does it like you do. You
can get results with much more ease when you’re aware of your superskills and build your
business around them.
If you’re not aware of how complexity can cripple your growth, you might find yourself in the
midst of one or more of these 6 traps. And before you know it, your business will consume and
take over your life, throwing you off balance in other areas, such as health and relationships.
