Spritzgießen -Besonderheiten-
• Material muss vorgetrocknet werden (Polyester)
• Restfeuchte kann zu Hydrolyse und Prozeßstörungen
führen
• Prozessparameter müssen angepasst werden
• Verarbeitungsfenster deutlich kleiner
• Werkzeugtemperaturen sind ausschlaggebend für die
Verarbeitungs- als auch für die Gebrauchseigenschaften

Verarbeitungsrelevante
Restfeuchte: 100ppm (0,01%)
� Je geringer die bei der Trocknung verwendete Temperatur, umso mehr Zeit wird
benötigt, um die geforderte Restfeuchte zu erhalten (80°C/6h; 60°C/10-12h)

Wärmeformbeständigkeit durch Nukleierungsmittel
� Ausgangsmatrix ist entscheidend
� Hohe Werkzeugtemperaturen sind wichtig

Verwendung des Homopolymers PDLA als Nukleierungsmittel
• Das L/D-Isomer-Verhältnis im Ausgangs-PLA ist dabei entscheidend
• Durch das Einmischen von PDLA bilden sich Stereokomplex-Kristallite
• Je höher der L-Anteil im Ausgangs-PLA, desto höher der Anteil an Stereokomplexen
• Hoher Stereokomplexanteil (Keimbildner) bedeutet z.B.: hohe Kristallisationsrate,
höhere Wärmeformbeständigkeit, höhere Schmelztemperaturen

Zusammenfassung
• PLA ist nicht gleich PLA
• Vortrocknung kann gezielt reduziert werden
• Langzeitbeständigkeit kann erhöht werden
• Durch gezielte Modifizierungen kann die Zykluszeit
reduziert werden und die Wärmeformbeständigkeit
erhöht werden
• Die Fließfähigkeit ist entscheidend für die Kristallinität
