Most of you will be familiar with ITN as the producer of the news on ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. You may also be aware that ITN Productions is ITN’s creative production division making television programmes such as The Agenda with Tom Bradby for ITV, Dispatches for Channel 4, Harrow – A very British school for Sky1, and Mud Men for History. What you may not know is that ITN Productions also produces TV commercials and sponsorship bumpers, branded content, corporate video, digital media including apps, VOD and outdoor, and digital sport including English and Scottish Premier League football. This booklet shares and celebrates some of our best content.

Night Tube
Client: Transport for London
This film takes a new look at the tubes, blending slow motion footage and black and white footage, with high contrast text to deliver the key information you need to know about the iconic launch of London Underground’s Night Tube. This film formed part of a range of internal and external communications that ITN Productions is producing in the run up to the launch.

The World’s First All Lego Ad Break
Client: Warner Bros, BT and Confused.com
ITN Productions produced the adverts for BT and Confused.com which achieved over 1million views online, won 2 Gold Cannes Lions 2014, and 4 Golds and the Grand Prix at the Media Week Awards 2014.

LifeSkills Created with Barclays
Client: Barclays
Barclays’ education programme and work experience matching service LifeSkills partnered with ITV for a week-long campaign, following two young people during their work experience. Shot and delivered on the same day, ITN Productions were responsible for delivering daily TV ads and digital content showing first-hand what it’s like to do work experience.

Kia’s Road to Rio Ad Funded TV Series
Client: Kia
Ahead of the biggest event in the world’s footballing calendar ITN Productions created a 6 part series broadcast on Dave for the official sponsor of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, Kia. The documentary follows a comic duo on their exploration of the countries, people and cultures which the world came to know so well during the World Cup.

The Great Business Debate

We wanted to stimulate debate around business in the UK, looking at the advantages it brings to the economy as a whole. Taking a cross section of people, this film plays out it will be revealed that our characters, although seemingly in different locations, are in fact sitting around the same table.

Virgin Active Tennis Launch Campaign
Client: Virgin Active
Virgin Active leveraged ITN Productions’ real-time digital content capabilities, to produce engaging same-day social media films for major events and campaigns. Our digital team boosted the content, achieving coverage on 24 online news desks (reach of 190+ million users), as well as securing 11 television news broadcasts. Total equivalent media spend was over £1M.

British Council Connecting Classrooms
Client: The British Council
We visited a school in Lagos, Nigeria, and a school in Devon, UK, to capture the magic of the British Council’s global education programme.
The creative involved mirroring shots across both UK and Nigerian classrooms. ITN Productions delivered 9 pieces multiplatform content to share cultural experiences and boost the profile of the programme.

Continental Tyres Sponsors Dancing On Ice
Client: Continental Tyres
Continental wanted to promote their winter tyres through sponsorship of the final series of Dancing On Ice. For the second year they came to ITN Productions for full creative and production of sponsorship idents as well as digital content, which saw Torvill and Dean doing a break test at Mercedes Benz World.
