Anwar Harland-Khan, Chief ExecutiveAnwar Harland-Khan is the Managing Director of developers MHK International. MHK’s philosophy is simple: to design and build high quality product in the most outstanding locations, whilst serving the environment and enriching local communities. Amongst other countries, MHK have been developing property in Morocco for six years and are currently working on a low-density sixteen villa retreat, L’Amandier in the Atlas Mountains.
Gordon Miller, Sustainability and Communications DirectorGordon Miller works as a journalist and writes for national newspapers, including The Financial Times and The Sunday Times. He founded and runs sustainable residential development website whatgreenhome.com. Gordon is a licensed BREEAM International Assessor, which entitles him to assess and consult on residential and commercial buildings’ environmental performance.

Sustain Worldwide raises the profile of sustainable development and architecture through high profile marketing and press campaigns. A pilot marketing campaign run in conjunction with the Telegraph.co.uk from November 2010-February 2011 generated more than 150 new business enquiries for members. See www.telegraph.co.uk/sustainworldwide/ During year two, from September 2011, Sustain Worldwide will build on the initial successful campaign. The executive is exploring similar campaign opportunities with the Financial Times and other international media.
Sustain Worldwide generates and provides press comment and is fast-becoming the authority in sustainable development. Sustain Worldwide introduces funded research opportunities to members. A recent European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) call to reduce carbon emissions in communities has invited members to gain knowledge, partner with world renown engineers Buro Happold, and benefit from funding to participate.
Sustain Worldwide researches and disseminates papers, reports and market reviews selected for members that in our opinion represent some of the most significant documents published today on sustainable development and related subjects and issues.
